Nope - I work almost every Saturday night, so going anywhere on the weekends is difficult.

(oh - tip for starting over: give yourself the right to freak-out, scream, or cry when you're stressed. I had to start over a few years ago, and trying to be "tough" the first year wore me down, once I allowed myself to deal with the fear and the unknown - and unknowable - I was able to get through it much better. We have emotions for a reason)

tpbm had to start over once, and it turned out to be one of the best things ever for them

No, been there done that, job shutdown, divorce, placing child's needs first, etc.

TPBM know that most choices in life are based on a matter of one's priorities, money, free time, location, relationship, social status, live in the moment fun, etc.

My snacks are on top of the fridge, I have to stretch to get them. It counts as exercise.

Yes, a cute little "trip" camera ... that I discovered on it's first trip needs an actual computer to recharge. Grrrrr....

Yes, I have an electric quilling tool. It spins those little paper strips into tight coils in no time. It puts a smile on my face each time I use it.

TPBM wonders what Quilling art is.

Just shy 750 hours of sick time and still accumulating it :D . I've exceeded the maximum amount of annual leave of 240 hours for this year and still accumulating it.:D Which is the only reason I stay working where I'm at, is for the time off because I'd probably never see that in the private sector. Plus operating or being trained to operate various types of equipment: loaders, dozers, graders/blade, vactor truck, crack filler, snowplow/wing plow/tow plow and more as well as training new employees to operate the same.

No, never really cared for bagels. I will make a meal out of a homemade fried biscuit and brown sausage gravy, deer gravy, chicken gravy.

TPBM likes red gravy or white gravy best.

They're almost equal. Taste is first & foremost, but a bad texture ("mouth-feel" if we want to be industrial about it) can ruin food for me. I love eggplant, but it has to be prepared right. If it's too slimy I can't eat it, even though I love the flavor. Color rarely bugs me.

Not so much a song, but a band. Heatwave is their name, and they are a 70's funk band. Like Kool and the Gang. So when it's been kinda a difficult day, I listen to them while I shower.

Tpbm will share what they do to get them through a tough day.

I found that emotional weight can be counterbalanced with physical energy. So I whack weeds, collate signs, do dishes. Anything that has a perceivable goal and result. Repetition is good and can be meditative. Intellectual pursuits just aren't the same for the real bad days. Once my mind is quieted down, then I can pursue intellectual endeavors.

TPBM has a favorite snobbery they'd like to share with us.

That's not my road, you know. My conscious state varies in clarity even when sober. I tend to wallow and don't toy with that source of comfort anymore. Really good coffee with real cream and sugar is a rare treat, normally it's just with nf milk.

I do. I have a mantra I speak every time I leave the house: "Spectacles, Testicles, Wallet and Watch"
It is a punchline to a joke I no longer remember, but basically it reminds me to have my keys, phone, wallet and glasses with me before I leave.
