Post by poolness[hello] » Mon May 18, 2015 1:48 pm

Im coming from Beirut, i will arrive at San Francisco on august 15, traveling around a bit before BM. but how will i take all the things i need ?! how will i get there?! im doing a lot of research, but i cant seem to find a way to meet other burners that would be willing to take me in. any help guys?
I cant help but feel overwhelmed, I know it will work out, but i just need a little bit of guidance
anyone want to join me on this adventure?

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome to the site! As Elderberry suggested, start with the first timer's guide, as well as the Survival Guide (if you have not already done so). From there, spend some time reading the boards - it's organized by categories, and many of the questions you can think of are probably already covered with lots of good answers and ideas. Good luck!

Hi Poolness!

The Burner Express bus could transport you in. Green Tortoise bus might as well. Google them! :) They both have camps.

I noticed this morning that Alphabet Block Camp is still looking for members who don't have a lot of stuff with them.

They are one of many choices. I also recommend looking under the 2015 Theme Camps forum and emailing or messaging one or two with what you have to offer. Note: Theme Camps are primarily about giving an experience to the public, rather than supporting their members (although the good ones have a lot of give & take) so be sure to look for a camp that sounds both 1) fun and 2) compatible with your abilities and interests.

Welcome!

Welcome to Eplaya.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hey, you're never alone now.

C'mon in, put your feet up, stay awhile.
