hello my dear future friends. My name is Maya- an israeli simple name, (and also the name of BUDHA'S wife!) and i cant wait to go BURN with you all. im a seniour prudocer at a fashion anf lifestyle magazine in Israel. I know the desert very well from two years of my militarry service included living in a small camp in the Negev desert. I was dreaming about the Playa for a very long time and this year me and another friend decided to commit to it and make it real. we still dont have a camp but we cant wait to use some powers we didnt imagine we have. we are ready to sweat, bulid, dance, cook , clean, experience, particepate.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

The event is on a dry alkali lake bed and prone to dust storms of a sharp smelling dust the consistency of baby powder. We have it here because it is a blank canvas no one wanted!

ive been reading a lot and i have a lot of travel experience... though im sure you can never really be "ready" for the playa! which is the most exciting part!
