1) A full-on rideshare from Vancouver, for me and my gear. I can pitch for gas and possibly help with some of the driving... though I really haven't done any highway driving, so you may not want to take me up on that. However, last year, I was a very effective Arrival/Exodus driver...
I am a non-smoker, and yes I have a ticket. At this point, the earliest I could leave Vancouver is August 29th (maybe the 28th). Coming back - well, I don't HAVE to be back until September 10th-ish. I may be able to move my departure date up if it becomes a make-or-break for a rideshare.

2) Or, fly to Reno and take the Burner Express from there, in which case I'll need hauling assistance for a:
-bike
-cot
-cooler (full size, but likely no larger than 66L)
-sleeping bag (tucked into cooler)
-lawn chair
-water (I just can't get my head around transporting water AND gear AND food via Burner Express)
Again, I'm more than happy to pitch for gas.
