Howdy yall, my name is Andy Owens, burn name FIxxer and I am from North Carolina. I have been burning only about five years, for decades before that I was getting paid to play at events, but the non commercial atmosphere of burner culture appeals to me, and I play Bluegrass music, which is basically non existent in the bun community, so that's my goal, bring BLuegrass to the Burn. I am TCO of a Themecamp called Rootpile, at which we play Bluegrass and Oldtime music, feed bbq and just generally try to bring hillbilly culture to the burns we attend. I have played music in fifty countries and this will be my third BM. We have an artcar which is a giant banjo stage, maybe you've seen it. If you are into BLuegrass or Oldtime, hit me up.

Howdy Fixer, Welcome to eplaya. (Even though you are not a newcomer.) I get the distinct impression that you're trying to recruit people to play bluegrass. I love it. Good luck.

I was going to say that one of your campmates is already a poster here but I think it's you and you're just late with the introduction. Welcome!

It's great hearing non-electronic music on the playa; it's definitely underrepresented.

Hi Andy, I tracked you down last year and had the best time time. Do you need any grunt help at all this year ? (Unfortunately I am not a picker) Do you know where you will be camping and when/where you will be playing??? Thank you so much for bringing Bluegrass to the playa. Hope to see you soon, Kim
