Hello from a first time burner living in GA
hello everyone,
i'm so stocked i got a ticket , but at the same time, i am super anxious and nervous, no clue what to do and get prepared for. Thankful for these faq sections.
Is anyone leaving from East Coast? From GA in particular? I am willing to meet up at the airport in Reno, and maybe share a cab with someone, or rent a car..., as well supplies , like water, and food for the days there...
I will be probably traveling solo. I would be nice to meet up someone nice willing to share this experience with me!! Hit me up if you are a nice person, willing to meet new people , have fun and enjoy a week of music in the desert.
Peace and Love!
Izabel

Welcome to ePlaya, Izabel. Sounds like you will want to read, read, read -- both here on the forum and on the main website. That is prolly the best way for you to get a "feel" for the event. For example, it is not exactly a music festival. And a cab ride from Reno would require the cab driver to have an admission ticket and vehicle pass, and possibly other documentation also involving money. And no, he can not drop you at the gate. So hang around and read and learn, and then we will try to fill in any gaps in your understanding of the event.

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hi Izabel!
See if you can meet other Burners from Georgia. I would recommend adding yourself to Floridian email lists as well!

Hi. I support everyone's advice. You really need to prepare. You can reach out if you need specific advice. Remember, you'll be in the middle of nowhere with only what you bring. It is what you make it.
