After Burner

Monkey hut, tent, bike, etc. gone. So it is now official. I am an "After Burner". Fabulous memories, made lots of friends, great experiences, definitely expanded my boundaries - now it's time to move on. Never say never - who knows what the future holds but as of now - no more Burning Man.

One of the great things about living in the Reno/Sparks area is that I can attend a Burner party/event almost every week, year round, if I choose to do so.

Ahhhh - that felt good. Got a couple real (non-virtual) hugs this morning from a couple local Burners that benefited from me gifting out some of my gear.

I just received a phone call from one of my daughters. She knows how much Burning Man means to me and when she read my post on FB she was worried that I was sick

Our new inspirational quote is from Susan Sontag who said "I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list". Last semi-official count we've heard is there are 196 countries in the world. By the end of this year we will have visited 68 countries so we have a long way to go

So close yet so far away. We were within 20 miles of Bowman Lake this last weekend. We were camping at Malakoff Diggins.
