So as stated I have been on major weight loss haul for the past 5 months. I'm curious if there are any others out there that are as well?

I'm down 58 pounds as of today. I have 75 more to hit my main goal then another 20 after that. For my end of all end weight.

First major goal is in 45 pounds from now. 200.

I'm doing the diabetes prevention/weight-loss program The Husfriend built/works on. I haven't lost very much yet but I also haven't really been trying that hard

I've lost 20 since Dec 5. Slow going but I keep hitting the ice cream. Not bad though since that encompassed holidays and tax season. And I had a conference and play event where the food was really good, but I did load up on salad. I want to lose 5 more.

Holy crap people this is incredibly freaking inspiring! The goal Prevent set for me is only 14 pounds (7% of my weight) so I feel like I should totally be able to do that after reading this thread.

Of course getting off the couch and off ePlaya would help with that

I hear you, they were doing me in. Used to loves me some gummy bears and sweets and chips, I haven't had a one in 9 months now, but a few weeks into my Keto/LCHF I lost all cravings for them.

Now my sweet tooth is satisfied with my morning bulletproof coffee and sugar free jello for desserts once and awhile.

Funny thing is with my surgery I tend to get stomach pains bad after eating. I have found smoking totally gets rid of that and also helps me eat more. I'm lucky if I can get a bottle of water in in a day and a cup of food total

TattooGoddess are you taking something like Prilosec? I was told to take it for months after the gastric reduction surgery, since it's real easy to break down the new stomach lining you are growing. I slacked off on the Prilosec and started getting what I falsely interpreted as hunger pangs. I called my counselor and she flipped out when I told her I quit taking the Prilosec since I wasn't getting reflux. She said my "hunger pangs" were a developing stomach irritation and if I didn't get my shit together I was gonna get an ulcer. I have no excuse since they took use to a pharmacy in Tijuana and everybody bought at least 3 large bottles of the Mexican generic Prilosec at tremendous saving. (Of course one lady bought 400 bars of Xanax there, too

) I will probably take it for almost a year post-surgery or until the cheap meds run out.

Back in late June I was 196lbs when we got a "notice" that our landlord was selling the house we've been living in for 11 years. This started my downward spiral of losing weight. Eating habits changed, the anxiety and nervousness of moving etc. By early September I was down to 180. A loss of about 16lbs. Now that things are somewhat back to normal, I'll be damned if I haven't gained nine pounds back in the last two weeks.

Went on two and a half month vacation (culminating at Black Rock City) on a canned food diet, one can a day, one beer a day (a banana and coffee too) and lost at least 15-pounds (afraid to step on the scale), look and feel so much better! (Wouldn't hurt to lose five more pounds and build some muscle.) No more frozen dinners for snacks and I'm gonna drink less too.

Great job tattoogoddess! Keep up the good fight.

Yesterday marks one year since I started my change to eating Ketogenic LCHF and as of this morning I've lost 102.4 lbs.

I'm really feeling great, this lifestyle is so easy to follow the only thing I miss is drinking beer but not so much. Besides I think I've had about every kind there is.
My weight loss has slowed down for a few months now and I'm happy my weight was stable during my Burning Man trip ( did dabble in a few carby meals while on vacation).
Going to incorporate more exercise now that I've taken a good load off the old joints.
Still have a long way to go to reach my goal weight, but I believe this next year will be better than the first.

Here is to all the great losers here, I wish you success on reaching your goals!
