Hi!

This is my first year going to Burning Man. I'm a circus artist specializing in acrobatic pole and aerial hoop. I'm looking to connect with other circus artists and find a camp to perform with. I will be bringing a stage pole and possibly a hoop with me.

you can join this group on facebook and post here. it's for the Carny Corral and the Midway. they have some body painters signed up (and looking for others like stilt walkers, spinners, etc) and you sound like you would fit right in. you can also possibly camp with Midway Village (where the Midway participants can camp), but it isn't JUST a performer's camp.

Kamp Suckie Fuckaye is generally Portland-based group of around 50ish mostly circus and fire and burlesque performers, with some exceptions (most notably a suspension bondage expert that did some serious traffic-jam inducing shows last year). We have a big aerials rig on our outdoor stage and a pole on our indoor stage in the Suck 'n' Fuck Saloon. Despite what 50% of our visitors think (perhaps due to the massive, phallic neon sign that says "Suck 'n' Fuck" on the roof), we are not a sex camp. Not sure if we're accepting new members or not without references, but you're very welcome to come make friends and play with our junk. Should be at or not far behind the 4.30 portal.
