These tix were bought by my wife on her burner profile. She says she's unsure if she got notified or not. Doesn't recall it but might have been something she misinterpreted in her spam folder. Like many, she's in a job that results in more email than she can really deal with. She loves BM but she's also not as focused on it as I am.

I got an email from UPS telling me to expect a delivery from Ticketfly but no notification from Ticketfly directly.

Do you get to keep your ticket ? Like physically...do they hole punch it, or tear it or take it?

They take the small stub. You get to keep most of it.

I let ticketing know about the lack of notification emails, and they reminded that people should check not only their email program but also with their ISP to check on spam filters and to make sure that Burning Man Tickets and Ticketfly are on any whitelist/trusted senders list. And remember, tickets are mailed out over a period of several weeks - don't freak out that you're seeing others post about having gotten tickets when you have not even gotten a shipment notification. Notification emails are sent on the day that the tickets are shipped.

Speaking personally, they said that last year too, and a lot of people I know had both set up as trusted senders (including me) still didn't get a notification... so your mileage may vary. I recommend not letting 'ticket shipment limbo' get you stressed out. Even if you're the very last one to get their tickets mailed out, you'll still have them in time. Spend that time and energy getting the 9,542 other things done that you need to take care of before departure and before you know it they'll be in your hands.

Meanwhile, congrats to those who've gotten their tickets so far - woohoo, I'm happy for ya! And hey, that new Survival Guide web site looks great!

Yeah right!!!!

I just finished re-routing my tickets that were delivered to an address I tried to change last week. I spent 30 minutes on the phone this week with Ticketfly to try and change my address. They said it was too late for them, but just change it when you get your delivery email notification.

NO $@#$@#$ emails from either Ticketfly OR UPS! I find this very strange, because I use UPS a lot and have an account with them. Yet no emails from them or TicketFly.

I had to enter my tracking number that a friend managed to get off the sticker they left on the door. My package went from Oakland to Kentucky to Seatle to Ellensburg.

Now it's headed back to Oakland after I HAD TO SPEND $20 MORE TO GET IT HERE.

In 2012 they forgot to tear my stubs... so I still have 2 x 2012 tickets with there stubs on.

Following up on an earlier question about gate times... we did get cleared for a 10AM Sunday August 30th gate time.

While the Survival Guide web page currently has a typo (right day of week but wrong day and wrong time), the electronic PDF (which you can download from the Survival Guide's front page) and the printed guides do have the correct date and time. Plan your travel times accordingly.
