TG, if I didn't do Burning Man I'd do the RAGBRAI as well. I mean, skinny dipping in the wilds of Iowa, drinking beer in every little town you ride through, and parties day and night while losing weight. What's not to like?

BOTH the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals are doing well this year, so far.

A good reason for Dr. Pyro to move here..... Federal Reserve Banks in both Kansas City and St. Louis. We're the only state that has two.

Oh, that's interesting. My niece is bringing over her (british) husband this year. She grew up there, but has duel dual citizenship. They were married less than a year ago, and she moved here in November. So, I can see this process from two angles of view.

If you were applying for asylum, you'd be visiting my building and we could "do lunch". Were you being oppressed by any emus, perhaps?

I've been up a while. Hard to sleep in when normal wake-up call is 0445.
I'll be working on the Land Yacht rear suspension today, I modified some Jeep Cherokee coil springs to fit into the struts on the boat, it seems to sit about right, I think they are gonna work.
I'm pretty much on my own, developing the science of boat suspension.
Doing all this un-glamorous shit is how you get to be the Captain

Patsch brought her beautiful necklaces and beautiful sole

We played with looney tunes poofer

Robbidobs brought a bucket of tp

Trilo brought wisdom and with his girlfriend P brought fancy smancy s'mores

Nila and Killbuck brought great stories and yummy things to eat

Bin noddin was there! It was lovely to see him and he brought sweet patches from fishy. Thank you fishy.

And ygmir, dear sweet ygmir was the best host ever. Shuffling those who couldn't get their cars up his steep driveway up and down to get their gear to the party. You rock and we all love you.

And I fell down and sliced my toe open. It was funny (kinda) and I'm fine

Totally possible. Not until the 6th at the earliest. I'm typically most able on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I had a great time. Pictures to follow. It is such a beautiful spot and there are no neighbors. It's like having your own mountain range and lake. Thank you Igmir and everyone that brought wonderful food and drink.

No Ygmir, I have to thank you. It was stellar. How can so much happen in 3 short days? How's the foot, Lucky? I tried not to laugh. Food? Sheesh, was there the best food anywhere, and tons of it. I took a bunch of photos, will edit and upload when I have a minute. I finally got home at 2 am this morning. And that rental car I got all the way up there? That's why we call them rent-a-beaters. I spent 1/2 hour in the carwash and parking-lot body shop before "returning" it. They didn't notice the tree-shaped imprint. What a trip, thank you all.
