Re: Just got my tickets. Yes!!
I'm going away for a week so I'm sure that's when mine'll show up.
Last year I didn't get mine til August 6. That started getting worrisome, especially with the burn's early start last year and my early entry. Burners traveling before the burn (and Canadians) were panicking. Probably another reason will call was so screwed up, lots of those got switched to will call.

Re: Just got my tickets. Yes!!
Received an email from UPS today saying that my tickets are shipping from Ticketfly. Just FYI.
A plan is what you vary from.
Destiny Lounge 3D will be at Bradbury and 3:15 this year as a part of the 404: Village Not Found group of camps! Come see us!

I am headed out of town for a week and few days. I hope my post lady holds the tickets for me if they decide to arrive while I am gone. If they transfer to will call because they are returned, I will cry.pink wrote:I'm going away for a week so I'm sure that's when mine'll show up.

Re: Just got my tickets. Yes!!
I didn't get my tickets until August 8th last year and those were directly mailed to me from a Ticketfly manager personally in a simple hand written manila envelope; standard mail.trilobyte wrote:jneilvindy - no need to be a jerk. In each of the last few years, ticket mailing has taken longer than that.
Good call, remi. In the last couple years the ticket team has sent me an 'all clear' to let us know when the last of the tickets mail out.
This was after the ORG announced all tickets had been shipped by August 1rst and not once had the ORG responded to any of my where's my ticket inquiries and they had closed out both of my burner profile contact us inquiries without ever responding to them.
The ORG never did send an email, online response or anything concerning my tickets sent to them from ticketfly for packaging and shipping to me. They just up and vanished.
ORG ticketing is a black hole. There is no way to directly contact them and all you can do is call ticketfly and they have to pass the issue on to the ORG. Given their utter failure last year I have zero confidence in them this year. Maybe they'll prove me wrong.
Oh btw...
how many people on eplaya have gotten tickets without the email alert and tracking number so far this year?
confidence in their competence dropping.........

Also worth noting; one of the tickets going to jneilvindy needs to be sent across the country to someone who has early entry.

Re: Just got my tickets. Yes!!
My Pre-sale ticket showed up yesterday. No e-mail notification or tracking info, it just showed up in the mail & I didn't have to sign or anything. That kind of surprises me considering the ticket & VP are worth over $800. Now I'm waiting for a few more I bought for friends. Maybe they'll show up this week as well.

Just got a bit of paper saying my "package" is at the post office and to get my butt over there to fetch it. My post office is blessed with some delightfully surly desk staff. I look forward to seeing them.

The only time my Post Office has been "upset" with me is when I had a package of honey bees delivered via USPS & a bee was on the outside of the box. I still think it's a little odd that my ticket package was just sitting in my mail box waiting for me. I guess it saved me a trip to the Post Office but personally I would rather be required to sign for something so valuable (& I don't mean just the $$$).

The Ticketfly ticket tap is turned to the "on" position.
Signed for the package at the USPS this morning and have ticket in hand, with the vehicle sticker. It just got real.
No email, no advance notice, but thrilled once again.

I had this mental image of all the crazy things that a postal worker must see because of this statement. You can SHIP honey bees?! I mean, I get it, I just never thought of it before.FlyingMonkey wrote:Netty58 wrote: The only time my Post Office has been "upset" with me is when I had a package of honey bees delivered via USPS & a bee was on the outside of the box. Not to contribute to thread drift, but I receive bees and day old chickens thru the mail. Poor things are besides themselves when I open the container but they quickly adjust and after a matter of hours with some rest and water they are happy little fluffballs.
No tix yet, no Ticketfly update. Being patient on the outside.

A peeper package!
I didn't receive any kind of email notification, just a note in the mailbox. Signed the bit of paper and designated my beau as my "agent". Seems a bit dramatic. Post office staff (bless their little cotton socks) apparently looked at him with great suspicion.

Just received e-mail from TicketFly saying my tickets were being prepared and would be shipped in the next few days. I received an email notification from TF last year as well.
As the owner of an online Forum which sends automated emails requiring new registees to reply to confirm, I can tell you a lot of automated email never reaches it's intended recipient. I think it's tagged as spam and winds up being deleted or in the Junk mail folder, because I have log of what goes out I can verify against.

Yeah, but the bar code got scanned in so no one else is using them to get in. I suppose you could have sold them after you get in, but that would be a shitty move. Still waiting...
Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy for the people who have received them.
I would really, really hope that this year Ticketfly would send an email about shipping a ticket order worth nearly $900. But I also sprung for UPS 2nd Day Air, so hopefully that's another layer of protection.

Add me and Graidawg to the list. UPS, got email from UPS not TicketFly. Also got delivery confirmation email from UPS before the receptionist had a chance to get to me.

I got a UPS notification email and tracking number on the 29th, but it still says "info sent to UPS" with no actual package movement visible. Naturally, I'm visualizing a brown envelope, with an Atomic Fireball sized bump, stuck down in a crack between a wall and a desk.

How are the tickets shipped? We are going to be gone for a week starting Sunday. USPS will hold them for 30 days I think. How about UPS?

I've merged the threads about tickets shipping.
Tickets ship via the method you chose when you placed your order. Check your order confirmation email, or log into your Ticketfly account for more info.
