Howdy happy bar crowd. Speaking of 'happy', How's that One-year-older celebration workin out for ya? Fishy I wish you the best day ever. Trilo's BD song was perfect for you.

On a more somber note. *Stepping up on the soap box by the podium*. Have you guys ever noticed how some people are always up, some are always down and some are trying to get up by stepping on the ones that are down? Huummmm? Have you seen that around here? Well I have, and I'm sick of it. Naysayers. Party poopers. If someone wants to bring a paper umbrella for their shade structure I say, 'Go for it'. If the only shoes they are bringing are their brand new Tony Llamas well, 'Yeeeee Hawww'. If they would rather lug a keg of Blue Moon to the playa than bottled water i say, 'Please PM me. We'll exchange info'. This lashing out must stop. WE need new blood around here. Too many of the regulars have slept together and now they hate each other. Let the toddlers into the fold. You can rip on em later.

P.S. Can't you let just one God Damn thing go by? Do you have to pick it apart, and one-up it?

A good reminder, Ratty. There is a large margin for success, and failures make the better stories sometimes. Start with the survival guide and accessorize as desired.

I made a figjam cooler with a bathroom exhaust fan on top (Patsh and I) My apt has been above 90 for over a week and I thought a little relief might come from a little cooler. Something to sit near while watching t.v.

It only has four holes in the bucket so I think I can improve on that. Pump is working fine. Cool air is coming out. Not as cold as an air conditioner, but a little cooler than a plain fan. I'm not sitting here sweating@ 89 degrees inside, so that is a great improvement.

We only cut the 4 round holes for a start, thinking how neat it would be if the in-between holes were cut in cool shapes... not as easy as it sounds!

Elorrum, If the bucket is plastic you might take a metal cookie cutter or bend a metal coat hanger into a shape and heat on stove until red hot and burn shape into bucket.

I agree with you, being kind on a forum is a good thing (especially to the virgins);
but there is something to be said for toughening up the uninitiated and the lazy,
