2004 Photos by Philosopher

Post by philosophicguy » Tue Nov 23, 2004 4:01 pm

Fellow photo fans,
Burning Man inspired me to start taking photos, and now it's become a favorite hobby.

(Note: Some users of Firefox and certain Mozilla versions have problems with my site, so I recommend MSIE. If the server is getting hammered by lots of lookers, just try again later.)

Here are my BM 2004 shots:

You can also see my 2003 photos here:

This is probably my best ever:

Enjoy, and feel free to let me know your favorites.

Pagoda mostly

Post by wizzard » Wed Nov 24, 2004 3:03 pm

There are thousands of photos of the Pagoda of Infinite Reflection-both while being planned and out on the playa- at the link below along with hundreds of other event photos.

http://wizzard.com/bm2004

If you have cool shots or video of the pagoda, I'd love to hear from you! and post them on the site at this link:
http://wizzard.com/bm2004/event_other.html

I'm particularly interested in getting videos of the burn!

(There are also photos from BM 1998 to present if you look around a little.)

hey all!
here's my photos from the burn, and a lot of burning man related parties around LA... the burn is about 4 galleries down.

www.curiousjosh.com

also, if anyone got pix of the clandestino show on thu. night, or of me spinning with mutaytor on burn night, I would love to see them

oh! also, I was looking if anyone managed to grab a pic of me as a host at the CT afterparty (I was the one in speedo's and a sparkly cowboy hat which sounds much odder now than it did at the time)
I can be e-mailed at [email protected]

thanks!
-Josh

Howdy. This is my first post, how dramatic.

Just recently launched my personal work only website. May not be that much of interest there to anyone in the first 25 photos, but 26-31 are from Burning Man. I took more, but most were polaroids, and I gave them all away(I was that dude doing polaroid-landscapes on the top of that ex-barn).

Anyway, that was my first burn, so I was just relaxing and takin' it all in. If anyone really likes my style, I'm looking for interesting subjects in '05. Peace.

Wow!! Great pictures. And quite a few brought instant flashbacks. It looks like we took the same way out there as I stopped at the tree in the rock too. But you have one picture of Elk Mountain in there that I love / hate. That mountain has been a family nemesis for years and your picture of it surrounded by angry storm clouds captured it perfectly. Beyond that there's just so many good pictures there. Thank you VERY MUCH for sharing that!

Thank you for over 7 years of eplaya memories. I have asked Emily Sparkle to delete my account and I am gone. Goodbye and Goodluck to all of you! I will miss you!

Thanks for the kind comments. If there are any pics you want full-sized, just e-mail me with the numbers (ex. DSCN****.jpg) from the contact form on the index page. I only uploaded resized pics to save some space.
