Yeah, if you can't make it to the playa in person, Camp Envy helps. It's kind of a double-edged sword though, because it sure makes a person homesick just watching.

Yo, gang. All is well on this front. The 2015 Black Rock Beacon and Black Rock City Division of Geology shot glasses go to be ordered today. Step 1 to the FINAL loadout of the trailer.

Yesterday, got in a field trip to Glasgow, Missouri, on the river bluffs there. There was a 30 foot deep gully that was headcutting towards the road, and we STOPPED the s.o.b. before it could affect the road. It took about 40 truckloads of quarry shotrock, Now, we have a little time to plan the final aesthetic repair.

Other than that, had Burger's steak cut bacon for breakfast this a.m. with biscuits and gravy. YUMMY!

I'm excited about today. It's a Friday, gonna go see the big popcorn movie about time traveling killer robots, drinks and hanging out with a campmate, and other assorted nonsense. A few errands to run in there too, but in no rush and I should be able to avoid 'getting out of town for the weekend' traffic. Cheers!

Happy 4th of July!

My Lions Club organizes the Parade and the fireworks and pretty much everything today in our little town. I'll be selling hot dogs most of the day.

Remind me to tell you about the Lions Club beer booth that became part of a large Burning Man installation in 2010.
