BHA.... this is a trap... If I write a name, every other name that I don't write will curse and flog me on line until I die of electron poisoning.... Yes, I agree that it looks very much like her (although she has more eyebrows) and I agree she is so fucking gorgeous that I would spit myself with little cocktail swords until I bled to death if she told me to...

And, no... it's not Rob...

I like the style in which Larry wrote: it was very calm, logical, collected... where as Frenzy Jim makes my teeth hurt.... I posted a note on the petition site... but it was just a small poke.... sort of a drive-by mocking...

The guy thinks he's got balls, but he's just showing his lack of brains.... Sorry if I offend any of my friends here, or anyone who knows Jim, but he coming off as a real bonehead... maybe he's a great artist, maybe he's a crappy one... but he is one fucking lousy politician.... about as subtle as a Kamodo dragon in the chicken coop...

Yeah, he made good points Clearly well thought out. I'm glad to see reference to changes in the city for the coming year. My appetite is now whetted. Perhaps the circle will be broken

Wow... something really weird just happened... I found another thread by Jim Mason called "While We Are Waiting" for Larry's reply. I wrote out my reply, but when I went to post it, the tread was gone! It gives me a creepy feeling about what I wrote... but, fuck it... I'm gonna' share it with you guys anyway...

By the way, this is in response to what I see as the attempted hijacking of Burning Man by a Klutz and his Krew...
Yeah, and then we could all put on Brown Shirts, and march in step behind you, while the aging Chancellor, Larry Von Hindenburgh, could lay his blessings upon you... and all things will be right in the world of Burning Man.

But, then, we will have to root out our enemies who hide here amongst us. They seek to destroy the unity that we have worked so hard to acheive, with insidious ways of ignoring, or worse yet, not paying for art. First, we could get them to wear some little armbands... nothing offensive, of course, just a yellow six sided star, so that we know who they are, and so we can make sure that we are not infected with their imputity (by that time we will have them all inclosed in a single part of the city that we will jokingly refer to as "The Ghetto"). And then, when the Reichstag... I mean, The Man, burns, we can run to their part of the city and break all their cups and glass and have what I like to call a Krystal Nacht. Then, to make sure they won't cause us anymore trouble, we can take them out to the trash fence and wrap them up there... keep them there.... concentrate them there. It's the only way to save Burning Man. We can think of a final solution for them later.

And then we will have a Glorious Burning Man... one that will last for a Thousand Years... and we will be one... and we will previal, because we have MIGHT on our side... and we will dominate.... and we will raise our voices as one:
  • Black Rock, Black Rock
    Uber Alles, Uber alles en das Vold
...And then, they will fear us
...and then they will respect us
...and then, We will have a Pure Burning Man...

And God will be pleased with us

While samtzu's nazi satire is, ah, satire, I see both sides here. Don't like the messenger, or the message? C'mon, this guy planned to light off a fuel-air explosive that might have killed hundreds... He's an ar-teest! He's not supposed to come off like a politician trying to make everyone happy. Too self-important and self-righteous for you guys? He's supposed to be emotional; again with the ar-teest thing. Does that mean I agree with his message? Not necessarily. I'm just sayin' let's not just write this guy off as a looney just 'cause he hyperventilates a little.

And what's with you fuckers bringin' this into Tish's place? Now you got me doin' it, dammit.

Samtzu, get back on the couch where you belong. And sputnik? I got the very same Santa Pimp hat. We are so stylin'.

I'm guilty of bringing it here too, I did it because I wanted to know what you guys thought about it along the way. Sure this isn't a privet venue but we congregate here .

though I do think the Nazi stuff is a little over the top,

Satire is always welcome, and especially welcome here in the bar (methinks). But, so is any discussion of political/social/moral/art-rant-mutiny type stuff. I'm just callin' you guys on it so we don't forget where we are and why the fuck we're here.

And on that note, I'll have a huge vodka martini, please. Make it three (3) olives, I skipped dinner.

Sorry, I just have a very highly attuned Facist Meter, and his ham handed attack on BMORG just set me off. He may be right, but his rhetoric was ill advised. Larry, on the other hand, may be an old smoothy, like Herr Goebells, for all I know, and maybe we should should start a realcampaign to shake up the powers that be. And, also... this is a bar... and I can remember one failed putch that started in one, and set the world on fire... I'm thinking of growing a small little mustache and combing my hair across my forehead... Who's with me?

Speaking of fire... could I get one off those little Scottish Fire Water's that I like so much....

And I just got my Clausewitz: On War in the mail today... I should be able to drive people outta' here by the hundreds by the end of the week!!

OK, looks like I'm tendin' bar...

Here's a swimmin' pool size gin & tonic for the Zule. Samtzu, here's your big ol' pour of your Scotch peat. A motel-water-glass of Sauza and a tall, ice cold PBR for helitack. Bartender's choice - Wild Turkey and Killian's Red for the sputmeister and for Sensei? The largest brimmed martin glass you've ever seen holding three (3) basketball-sized green olives floating in pure heaven.

It's good to think big but maybe you should start with the Argentina model first, China is going to save their butts too.

Oh gawd, I am so not really a bartender, but lessee if I can get this tall order straight:

a little scottish fire water with a combover for Mr. Tzu, hmm, was noch;

Mr. Zule, gin and tonic;

a ginormous vodka martini with a three-olive meal, sensei;

oh, and Mr. H. Attack, cheap tequila and a warm PBR.

One good thing about a slow night, its forcing me to work out of sheer boredom. Cheers!

I need a drink please...

Something stiff to toast the deer that just sacrificed his life and totaled my truck. I've seen some damage, but the BM truck is dead. Dead and buried.

And that deer... 3 points, probably 175 pounds... poor guy.

Ack... what a fucking night.
