So far we've taken you into the past, but with our Carnival of Space and Time our eyes are set on the future! After many countless hours of exhaustive efforts, delightful cocktails, and ridiculous adventures... we bring you Burning Man art theme posters FROM THE FUTURE!!!








The above piece features the amazing photography of our friend Neil Girling, used with permission









Our camp's website (linked in my signature) has also been updated, if you check out the art theme posters page you can get a bit more background info about each piece

The full sized images are ridiculously detailed, the full sized 3 foot by 4 foot posters will be on display at our camp. We'll also be doing anything from serving lemonade to running the rubber stamp bar at various times - please do come on by and check them out in person, as well as stop and say hi.

These are great, but I can't help but think, shouldn't this thread be moved to "Years Past" seeing as most of these posters are not for this year?

LonesomeBri - thanks for your concern. If it were simply a standalone thread or isolated posts for each poster, then yes they would be a better fit in years past. But as they're a part of our Carnival of Space and Time project and a lead in to the future art theme posters I think it's more appropriate to keep it all contained within the same relevant thread.

I was just looking at these again and when I got to the last one I did a fast scroll up to the top to look at them again. WOW, watching them as they speed up the screen is an experience in and of itself!

Those are indeed cool posters. Now, is someone going to compose an appropriate parody of the old Zager & Evans song "In the Year 2525" to go with these posters? Wish I could, but I don't have the talent.

I have seen it, thanks. it's from my friend DA (who also heads playa restoration), he's done a few others over the years as well. The first piece of his I remember was the hope & fear poster in 2006 I think, and he's done pieces for Burning Man each year since 2012.

While I've been beyond busy working on cutting and painting and other projects and prep work, our machines were slaving away over a hot render. Here's a little teaser clip, sweeping across our camp's frontage to give you a better sense of what we're working on.

Also, we've finished making a number of additions to our Rubber Stamp Bar for 2015...



And the supplies have been procured for our Fancy Shmancy S'mores nights. We haven't yet scheduled any specific evenings to have them, so keep an eye out for a sign or ask one of us when you come by.
