My new Grandchild is Alexandra
she sometimes cries and my son -in law
suffers when he cannot fix it
He has been seen walking Alexandra wearing his noise cancel gear.

I'm a fan of second sleep. I've seen on a few historical documentaries, sleeping through the entire night in one go did not used to be the common thing. It used to be that people would sleep for a few hours, then get up and be active for a few hours (sometimes even going out or having meals) before going back to sleep again.

Good to see you, CO! Playa bulldog, I hadn't heard it before but like the expression.

Congrats on the successful meeting with the in-laws. Even when it goes smoothly it can still be kind of stressful.

The weekend flew by too fast. TInkered around with a couple clothing projects, and got the fabrics sorted on a couple pieces, plus we did some more of the legwork for space & thyme, and had a great trip to the farmer's market. Yesterday the crock-pot was rocked, resulting in many many pounds of the most delicious carnitas, we'll have great eating all week on that. My mouth is watering just thinking about it, I might end up having to eat lunch a little early today...

Slow day at the shop. Waiting for a client to arrive for pickup of parts for a custom desk.

Might be a Playa Project day. The MK VIIc evap system needs to be integrated into the MK I Central Unit. (tech babble...)

Trilo-Yeah, I coined that phrase around 2011 I think. I was pouring coffee and Irish cream in my cup and realized there was still whiskey and cola in it. Surprisingly not awful.
