Site Outage 7/15/15
Sorry about that, folks - it wasn't you, it was us! ePlaya suffered a brief outage this afternoon, due to an issue with our load balancer. Everything has been resolved and we should be back to whatever passes for normal around here.

Trilo, nothing on here is ever normal.
Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you see two life forms, one of them’s making a poop, the other one’s carrying it for him, who would you assume is in charge?

It had been taking a very long time to load a picture.

Did you forget to feed the server gremlins again? You should know by now how moody they get this time of year.

Re: Site Outage 7/15/15
What Trilo is not telling you is our internal snark filter needed to be rinsed out in soapy hot water and reinstalled. We were out of snark soap and tried Dr. Boners, but it did not work as well. I ran to the store for beer and cigarettes while they tried whatever that powder stuff is we keep under the sink. Turns out a run through the dishwasher with one of them little squishy tide packets and some patchouli oil worked out good and we are now back up.
Game on.
Game on.

More like Dr. Bonkers soap
What I'm really glad for is it isn't like things used to be, when the board would go down or turn to molasses all the time. Ticket info going out, ticket sales, theme camp placement announcements, and then just the constant build-up on tickets... It used to take forever to load pages or post to threads sometimes. MANY MANY thanks to the tech team, we're on better hardware now and have fancy tech like the load balancer (that only exploded a little bit today), which helps us automatically scale things up under heavy usage. We're busier now than we ever have been in July, and today's hiccup notwithstanding things are running pretty smoothly.
That said, I am going to schedule some down-time tonight. Do a little under-the-hood checking around as well as re-index the board.

Trilo, I am not receiving e-mail notifications of new posts on topics I am subscribed to. This has been going on for a couple days. Hopefully that will get sorted while you are at it. Thanks for all you do for us!

That wouldn't be related, Elliot, but I'll check into it.
It's been sporadic for me, Figjam, tonight's maintenance should hopefully clear that up.
