I'm ready to be there

Post by tamarakay » Wed Jul 22, 2015 5:28 pm

We leave for the burn a month from today. This has been a very transformational year for me. There is a fire in me changing how I feel, how i experience the world, how I react to change. Everything is different. I feel vulnerable and I am scared. I feel vulnerable and I am empowered. I'm ready to be there and ready to be here.

Me too!

It can't come soon enough and it'll be over far too soon.

Fuck yeah TK! I love these kinds of posts. So excited for you and the winds of change blowin' through your dusty hair.

I'm not as ready as I want to be, but if I had to leave tomorrow, I'd be totally cool. Cannot freaking wait.

I hear ya sister!

This has been one the toughest years of my entire life, but that which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger right? Ambiguity can be a bitch sometimes.

I can't wait to get out there. I know we're close when the "Shave your balls NOW !!" thread starts back up.

A big thumbs up for this! I too am counting the days.

Damn! I'll miss seeing you.

But so not ready to be there. The idea makes me feel queasy. Just me, not a comment on you or anyone else.

I am ready to be there also.

In 26 days, I am making a sharp left turn onto I-20 and putting the car on cruise control for 4-1/2 days.

That's very sweet and I am honored, but I don't expect to be back.

Happy birthday, TK. We haven't met but I've loved your presence over the years on ePlaya.

I too am counting the day. 35 days and I'm on the playa! With all my blinky LED projects it's starting to feel like BM hit Orange County early. :p

Half my shit is unsorted in the camper. Other half unsorted next to the camper collecting oak leaves. Gonna do final pack job, remove leaves, and balance the load better in one week.
I pace myself, been at this process too long to panic anymore.
