RV to Share

Post by rodrigoct » Tue Jul 28, 2015 12:21 pm

Hi Fellows,

We are a Brazilian couple of Virgins, we rented a big RV but our friends gave up.
We have 3 places to share with love in this model:
http://www.campertravelusa.com/rv/541/e ... 25?vid=541

We are leaving from San Francisco at 29th Aug and the RV return is at 8th Sep, and we'll share all the costs!

The camp we are staying is the Mangueira Camp, 9:15 with Freak Show.

Interested? Please PM me!

Cheers!!!

Just a note: you say you're a couple, and you have 3 spaces still open. The recommended occupancy for that RV, on the website you link, is 2 adults & 2 children, not the 5 adults you seem to want. I've stayed in an RV that size before, and we do it 3 adults max, and we all know each-other well. 5 people is asking for drama (especially since one of them is going to have to sleep on the bed that converts from the table, and that is quite small).

I highly suggest you read all the threads here with tips on bringing an RV to the playa. Just google this:

Hi Eric!
Thanks for the tips!!!
Actually in the website is saying 4 adults and 1 children as well (in the headline and in the features tab).
I know some people that used this model with 6 adults. They didn't like as well, but they told me 5 would be ok.
I've just described 5 pax based on their opinion, but i would be happy if we are in 4 adults as well!

Cheers!

Have a tent for your private whatever.

You'll be happier for it.

Was this at Burning Man? 6 people in an RV on the playa is different than 6 people in an RV doing regular camping. It's another one of those unexplainable differences between there and here.

Hi Skippy3k,
yes, it was at Burning man, and as I commented, they didn't recommend as well.
I wan't to emphasize that I am not thinking to accommodate 6 pax. 5 is the maximum, but I'd also prefer 4 pax. What would change is the value, it would be cheaper for every one if we divide the costs by 5.

Cheers

If my partner and I were to join you and one evening you come back to the RV and we're humping our brains out on the RV sofa, would that be OK with you?
Or I take a giant dump that I've been holding for 2 days (hey...I might have nervous kidney syndrome) in the RV toilet and the flushing mechanism jams?
I like to take daily showers of at least 15 minutes, with plenty of hot water, otherwise I don't feel clean...is that OK?
We'll prolly sleep on the convertible dinette bed until at least 10 AM every morning, so we'd appreciate it if no one did any cooking or other meal prep until then...is that OK?
We have lots of playa friends who love to party...is it OK to invite them inside the RV to party? For hours? Most of them are smokers.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

Hi Dragonpilot, I would love to give you a big playa hug... but not, you won't be welcomed to share the RV with me, and I really don't think you can find someone that will agree with your 15 minutes showers.

I hope you realize these are the questions you should be asking any prospective people looking to share with you?
