MARTIAL ARTISTS, ACROBATS, AND MONKS! THE BLACK ROCK KWOON AND DOJO WANTS YOU!
Our white roofed shrine returns to the playa for its fifth year. Within, martial arts, qi gong, meditation, and other pursuits are welcome. Master and novice alike practice cultivation of both mind and body. We are serenity. We are intensity. And when our minds are clear and we are as one with the Zen of the universe itself... the sacred gong rings out and we spring into motion, battle standards flying, delivering the goods of the French Quarter to various points around the city!
Do you have a passion for martial arts and acrobatics? Do you seek a shrine in which to practice your meditation? The Black Rock Kwoon and Dojo is looking for you! There are many opportunities to be part of our temple:
- Teaching martial arts and similar classes
- Leading meditation sessions
- Delivering goodies with flair and panache!
- Camp with us and join fellow martial and meditation artists!
- Contribute martial arts gear, benches, and temple accoutrements

I'd love to come and play again. I'm going to be more involved with the camp I'm staying with, so I may not be able to take host duties for a day this year, but I'll be coming by for classes for sure (and if there's room on the schedule may run one).

Our scheduling is well underway, and if you'd like to inscribe yourself to teach a class, you are invited to do so:
We would love to have you teach in our white-roofed hall. }:)
And you are all equally welcome to see what's being taught and come by and take a class or four, or just hang out and chat martial arts with our instructors.
We will be once again be located in the French Quarter this year, which will be at 745 between Esplanade (!) and A.
Sadly, I will not be on the playa this year, though I will be there with you all in spirit. -salute- Make it all a great burn! (And if you have any questions, or problems getting onto the schedule, I'll be sure to check back in here...)
