it was so thoughtful of bin noddin to make the trek to the hof and to reno and paint on killbuck's bannerline project...and visit with us in reno...he was tired...but made the effort to make the rounds..for a last good bye and last memory. we were so lucky to have that gracious man touch our lives. xoxoxox

I reached out to Bin's brother, who broke the news on the bookfaces, about including him on next year's Remembrance Plaque (the last call for this year was July 20). After checking with Bin's son, he gave his approval, saying this in part:

I know Jonathan would be honored (though he would never admit it) to be remembered in such a way. Attending The Man was always a dream for him and he so enjoyed being there.

It's bittersweet to know that the one year Bin camped with the Boobs was the one year I couldn't be there, but I remember the flag he made for us the year before that. TITWI, Piney, I hope you'll be bringing that flag out with you this year; I might even try and talk the CO into flying it from MASH's guard tower.

Rest in peace, bin. Alas that I never met you. It was truly my loss, seeing how much you are loved.
