Hey there!

I just got tickets and am super excited to be joining ya'll for my first burn!

I'll be traveling from Atlanta with a friend who did who attended one of the first burns when there were only about 100 people.

She and i have both gone through major transitions recently: me a divorce, and she the death of her husband from cancer one year ago, so we are ready for a transformation. We can't wait to make new friends and share the community spirit. She is a writer and artist and I am an animal lover who helps save animals from dying in shelters.

So happy to be part of it!

I absolutely love that you help save animals from dying in shelters. If I had money I would own a large rescue ranch and save them all...

I would rescue them all too if I could. The nonprofit I work for took over two high-kill county shelters, and even though we get in 30 to 40 dogs and cats at each every day (in a facilities built to hold 80), we have reduced the kill rate from 55% to 13% at both. I always pull someone off the chopping block and foster them at my house. Nice to meet a fellow animal lover lucky420.

and come by 7 & G. Dye with Dignity and dye a silk scarf with us on Monday. If you cant make that day come by most any other afternoon for a margarita or a snow cone. Dye with Dignity is a camp located within the Barbie Death Village

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Hey, welcome! So glad you can make it. Stop by the Wanderers camp at 3:15 and F for Toxic Tonic (gin & tonic) and hot dogs every day at 4:00!

Welcome to eplaya. It really is great that you love the animals. I bet you'll miss them while you're away. Come by our camp at 5:25 and H. We don't have much to offer but we'll lick your face so you'll feel at home.
