Any piano tuners coming out to the playa? Would you be willing to tune my piano?
I'm setting up a piano lounge at my camp, Decadent Oasis, 7:30 / A.
Grand opening is Tuesday at 3AM so would really be grateful for a tuning beforehand.
Needless to say, cocktails, praise and gratitude in abundance for your service!

As Doc will tell you, be prepared for the piano to be in constant need of tuning out there. I brought one in 2008 and as the week went by it grew worse and worse. My marginal tuning skills were no match for the playa.
A plan is what you vary from.

That's why we schedule to have the Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro piano tuned at least twice during the week. No matter what we do it still always sounds sort of honky tonk. Which has it's allure unless you're trying to play Mozart. Fine for Tom Lehrer however.
