OK, where's the sign up sheet? I'm officially in for a sign at the entrance, and for helping with the cleanup afterward, and possibly for set-up, if I can get there in time.

This meet'n'greet is (and has been) the highlight of my burns. With ePlaya, everyone who posts just automatically feels like a friend. Even the snarky ones. You guys out there have no idea how much it means to me to have this communication all year. Here, we have a solitary humanoid who LOVES all of us crazy fuckos.

I'm at a bit of a loss. Yesterday, I found a source for BACON CHEESE CURLS! I picked up a bag to test last night, and consumed half a bag before I somehow managed to stop. I looked at the bag, and suddenly realized something weird. It was marked as KOSHER! With BACON flavoring? At that, I somehow know that the flavoring is really artificial. Anybody interested in a few bags of these at the meet & greet?

Are there any cheese curls with REAL bacon on the market?

Remember, the flavoring is the seasoning used to cure the bacon, not the pig meat itself, and those seasonings aren't necessarily artificial (although several of them are chemicals). I found bacon-flavored popcorn that was also kosher, because it used bacon-curing spices (not bacon grease) instead of plain salt and artificial butter.

I had a brief problem earlier with figuring out what 'beef bacon' was at the local farmer's market, too. Then I realized it's just beef brisket with bacon spices. To me, though, it wasn't bacon-y enough.

I'm the guy who also calls Canadian bacon 'sliced ham'.
