RIDE OFFER (with a twist) BM 2005
[size=18]As of now, absolutely NOTHING is set in stone for me. Except that I would REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY
like to go to BM 2005 with a like-minded individual. Living in Key West, I usually like to take 3-4 weeks time and travel cross-country at a tad slower pace and arrive just as soon as allowed on the Playa to soak it all in from the start! I am presently working on acquiring a Westaflia camper (not to worry, it'll be in good shape, I am a mechanic!) to make the journey. Thinking of hanging with VW Bus Camp but open to suggestion. I would expect that you will have read the SURVIVAL GUIDE at some point and be fully prepared by the agreed upon departure date.
Further, I would expect you to be willing/able to share expenses.
(except vehicle maintaince/repairs)
Me? I am open-minded, intelligent, inventive, courteous, a damn fine camp cook, pretty handy, and a pretty good dancer.
I like most all kinds of music (except rap) I DO smoke cigarettes, don't drink or do drugs, but ok if you do just not to excess.
Now then........................if you're easily offended do NOT scroll down!
I am also a bisexual male and would enjoy the company of a "friend with benefits" (yep...you got it SEX partner!) to accompany me. new to BM or to ... that's O.K. Male/Female couple possible but a VW Westfalia IS kinda smallish.....
I'm a bit more mature but reasonably fit and trim (6' 155#) I'm a Gemini (oh yeah like that explains EVERYTHING!) with a wonderful sense of the absurd, a good sense of humor, mischevious hazel eyes, a young heart, and a generous spirit. Expenses waived (except ticket) for the right person.

Mature BI guy here
I am 53 years young and when I first "came out" I identified as gay. After a few years I came to realize I was attracted to both genders.
Most of my long-term relationships have been with men.
Presently I am happily single. I guess I'm really just kinda selfish, I enjoy the company of others but I mostly like being on my own.
Some things I'm finding out now about myself are that it's really nice NOT being ruled by my "little head" I really AM interested (or not) in you and not your genetails. I don't get any un-wanted, embarassing erections anymore, but everything still functions quite nicely when needed. My partners appreciate my knowledge and experience
Looking back, it was a hell of a ride, SF in the 70's WHEW!

I agree. While I adore women, in my experience women in relationships (myself included) are FUCKING PSYCHO. Of course, men can be psychotic as well, it may just be that I, personally, am better equipped to deal with thier type of psychosis.Rob the Wop wrote:
J says that while her female love relationships were sweet, she misses the penis and tends to develope long term relationships with men.
I truly believe that we're all nuckin' futs, and it's not a matter of finding someone who isn't crazy, it's finding someone who's crazy you can deal with. I just happened to find that w/ a man.

Love this thread!
Has anyone else expereinced this:
If you're male, your gay friends are all saying things like "ICK! you do THAT" (Eat pussy) and your female friends think they can't "compete" (give head like) a man.
I don't know about women not felling that they compete, but I love to tease my gay friends that react with "eeewww....with a girl". It's hilarious to find the reaction reversed from the default hetro world.I just LOVE this thread!

I identify myself as gay these days since it takes an extraordinarily gorgeous woman to turn my head while even the most average guy can make me go "woof". Before I came out though, I enjoyed the sex with women, just never was able to relate to them very well romantically. It always seemed strange to me that when I was trying to be straight I didn't have many male friends but had tons of platonic relationships with women. Since coming out I not only have romantic male relationships but a lot more straight male friends and my female friendships don't seem to have suffered. I'm sorry if this has wandered off topic but this thread has gotten me to thinking about how I relate to the different genders. I'm jealous of bisexuals who are able to navigate the "is this a romantic or platonic relationship" question with both genders as I never got the knack of it with women.

As the thread un-ravels......
I met a MUCH younger man the other day, quite nice looking and we "seemed " to hit it off. I'd really like to get to know him better. If anything of a physical nature develops that'd be just dandy but I'm realisitc.
I learned a LONG time ago that I was NOT everyone's favorite flavor when it comes to what they want in a sex partner. The most extreme I remember was when I was about 21 and looking, what I thought was my absolute best, and being told that I was TOO YOUNG! by someone my own age!
Whatever floats yer dingy darlin.

Just thought I'd toss my two bits in here. I'm 33 and most of my relationships have been with men, but I'd say I seem to fall a little harder for women (and they make me more nervous). Or maybe this is because while I do sometimes feel an attraction, it feels like me and men aren't on the same wavelength romantically. I really wonder sometimes if that is just a by-product of the kind of confusion and static that we create due to being socialized differently.. Then there's the fact that while I admire other femmes, I seem to be much more attracted to women who are at least part "boy".. I really like having the "best of both worlds" I guess..
