hi all,
so i'm just a down to earth, nice guy who loves the outdoors but doesn't really fit in anywhere. so when I heard about Burning Man I thought, "yes, maybe I can fit in there!" really lkg forward to mtg other open minded peeps on the playa and experiencing the cool art, music and everything else. i work in nonprofit and recently finished a project to try to reduce the stigma around mental health issues so more people will get help.
i'm putting together all my supplies (read all the great survival guides, etc...thx to those who put these together!). is it too late to try to join a camp? It's just me (and my car) and I'm the type who will help out anywhere/anytime I can. i'm not against going solo (i do a lot of camping) but if a camp has shade and other cool stuff it might make sense to join one for my first year?
anyway. whatever happens i'm open to it. just thought I'd throw this out there to the BM universe and see what happens.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
