Greetings from an appreciative future citizen of BRC...
I've been lurking on this board for years, and now the time has come when I have it together to come to the playa. I am ridiculously excited. The little old RV is being packed, shade structure refinements completed, fabulous/functional ensembles prepared, mindset adjustments being made.
I have a small group of campmates, three fellow virgins and two vets. We've been meeting regularly to plan, and to help one another with projects. One of our group is a glass artist and she has led us in creating some fun pendants as gifts...and, OK, a few of mine are of a shirtcocking Man. I've volunteered with Arctica and look forward to greeting some of you in line. I have ticket and vehicle pass in hand, a couple of our group are still waiting for the magic to happen, networking continues.

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Welcome! I was in the same boat last year. Lurked for a long time until I managed to poke life in just the right way to be able to make the journey, only I decided to try and fly solo. Some positives and negatives to that decision, but it was a great experience no matter how you slice it.

Welcome Chicoterry! It's almost impossible to keep to a schedule out there but DO try to make it to the meet & Greet on Wed night. A lot of people you know of, will be there. It makes eplaya more fun when you've drunk, ate and flopped on the couch together.

In 2014 we made the Bi-Polar Express.

Oh frabjous day! The last of our merry band got a ticket today, and we were able to direct two more to friends of friends from Grilled Cheese Incident. The tickets really are moving around, folks, keep the faith and ask EVERYONE you know. Ours came from a most unlikely source. We are nearly ready to rock and roll. Looking forward to seeing y'all at the M & G...travel safe everyone!
