ok hope this works! We are 2 professional, straight FUN guys in our 40's who live, feel and act much younger-- first time burners bringing our state-of-the-art Class A RV to BM this year.

We would love to invite a few experienced Texas-based burners (with a camp?) to join us on the drive up who can show us the way. For your contribution to gas & some of the expenses you will have among the finest accommodations on the Playa. No flights, other transportation or RV rental needed. You should be fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable and selfless. Can pick you up in Austin Dallas or Ft Worth or along the way.

One of us is a general contractor and can build anything... we are keen to contribute our skills and knowledge to a camp or art installation. We're open!

If interested send an email to [email protected] and tell us about yourself!!

*Please forgive any violation of BM etiquette, still trying to figure this stuff out :)

Please make sure you read the rules of the forum, guys.
TICKET (AND VEHICLE PASS) BUYERS
Ticket buyers are welcome to post replies in the 2015 Tickets/Passes Offered threads as well as post their own thread in the 2015 Tickets/Passes Wanted message board. Do not start multiple threads or cross-post your need for tickets in other areas of the site.

PS - Do you really want to bring a new Class A to the playa? It is going to get destroyed...

Sorry, got it on the posts. Yes we're bringing it, not brand new, this one has been there several times and luckily survived.
Thanks for the quick response!
Question: what would be the best way / likelihood of finding friendly like-minded riders to share from Texas?

I don't know when it opens but The Rideshare board is the correct option. Preliminary search didn't find anything but IIRC it opens around April
The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair.

I dunno, but multiple identical threads piss off some of the locals.

Get to know people in the Austin regionals.

Be careful what you ask for. The expectations that travelmates bring to an RV sharing situation can at times lead to serious meltdowns with the potential of ruining it for everyone...trust me.
Don't bore your friends with all your troubles. Tell your enemies instead, for they will delight in hearing about them.

I'm in fredericksburg. But I have a ride. We get on each other's nerves but decades of marriage will do that to you. You might check with texas Joe. You can search him up on here. He knows a lot of Austin burners.

Just saw this thread and my name mentioned. Did you guys fill up the RV? There are a couple of local facebook groups that I can point you to if you are still looking for riders.

Hey there! We (my husband and I) are not coming from TX but ARE Texans currently transplanted in FL for the time being. We have tickets, parking pass and travel accommodations to the Playa.
We are seeking shelter as getting all the gear needed to camp from FL to NV is turning into a pain. This our second year out. Our first year we camped in an RV as well. We are in our mid 30's and own our own photography business. Both of us are fun, helpful and easy to get along with.
If you are still seeking people to fill the RV hit me up and I can tell you more about us.
Is it August already??

Did you find riders from your RV?

I'm in Austin also, but my travel arrangements are already set. (Flight to Reno, Burner Express to the playa)
