Thanks,

The only time I really listen to it is if I'm totally fucked up or I'm at someones house that has no music while we are partying there, just to spice up things.

Yes....I'm a party animal.

Yeah I know what you mean. I wish sandwichmans would spin on my site sometime. I have other D.J.s that spin on my site sometimes but not often enough. I like variety but need music 24/7, does'nt matter what it is.

Well almost....no rap thank you very much.

goddamn it, of *course* the board comes back up while I'm doing a show.

To answer what is now an *old* question...
(lydia... did you end up throwing up in technicolor???)
No, amazingly considering the fact that I was drinking that goofy toffee liquor in coffee **all day** and then proceeded to have vodka cranberry, rum and cider and mulled wine. At 1AM or so I gave into the insanity entirely and had a couple of beers. Not only did I not puke I didn't hurt at all the next day.

*shakes head* You'd think my liver has been in training or something these past few weeks...

To all y'all that made it... smooches and thank yous. You made my T-day.

I WAS gonna post an amazing little compare and contrast between our most recent two reviews. But the good one isn't as of yet to be found online. It was in the Seattle Gay News and used adjectives like "Spectacular" and "Stunning". It even featured an un-ironic use of the term "on gossamer wings". We made one reviewer *really really* fucking happy.

What the fuck, the contrast is below. This was written by what is possibly the most hated man in the theatre scene at this moment. There's a difference between an honest critique and an attempt to destroy a cast's spirit. I think he crossed the line.

It's so fucking negative, it's absurd. I understand that if he get's one more letter protesting the tone of the article he's gonna have to have a meeting with our artistic director and his fucking boss.

One of our cast has challenged him to a Karoke show down (nobody can sing, motherfucker? How's *your* voice?)

Just to put a little perspective on things for non-Seattleites... The four papers in town, in order of respectability, are as follows:

#1) Seattle P-I (who LOVED your show, I might add)
#2) Seattle Times
#3) the Stranger (weekly alternative that regularly embarrasses #'s 1 and 2 by constantly breaking stories the big boys missed.)
#4) Seattle Gay News

and finally, coming in dead last behind several local high-school papers...

#5) the Weekly

The Weekly (or 'Weakling' as we call it) is a true rag, suitable only for lining bird cages or wrapping fish. Their big "Best of Seattle" is remarkable for how many 'winners' in various categories are also 'advertisers' with the Weakling. Coincidence, I'm sure. Anyway, the point is, EVERYONE knows the Weakling is a fuckin' joke and they dumped on your play because, for once, they can be negative about something that won't hurt their fucking pocketbook. It's that simple. They're trying to show they have 'spine'. Ha. Maybe you guys should have bought a little space in their 'paper' to advertise. On the other hand, why bother? That worthless piece of shit rag is goin' bye-bye soon and everyone knows it.

Ah, Sensei, way to go.

You know who hands out the "best of" crap at the free papers? The fucking advertising departments. The reps talk among themselves, about which bank or brake shop should have some smoke blown up its figurative ass and bingo, there you go.

Anyone who takes that crap seriously should have their head examined.

Have a nice day.

Ummm... thanks for the coffee, Bucket!

By the way, why oh why has my name become
synonomous with self gratification (snapping the carrot, really!)?

~twiddles tits abjectly~

The best thing that ever happened to me was
to finally hit bottom. It is not a pretty thing,
really quite disturbing & I am not saying I am glad
anyones sis or bro is troubled badly, only that I have
hope & faith they will find the road to happiness by knowing
the brambles on either side & never wanting that again.

Skøl!

~slams coffee, burns throat~

Ouch! Damn non-alcohol drinks!

~twists the heads off a brown, a green & a clear, foams all at the mouth~

Snow snow snow!

RobbiDobbs dances into the Bar, wearing many layers and big boots. She appears to be in good spirits, although her eyes seem really tired and dark.

Good morning Sammich. Can I have some of that coffee to warm up?

Glad you got to catch some. It was a bit sloppy on the mixes today but oh well. I still love the records I own.

So I guess it is time to pour a drink.

A Whirling Fruit Basket

1/4 oz. Midori
1/4 oz. Peach Schnapps
1/4 oz. Sour Apple Schnapps
1/4 oz. Blackberry Brandy
1 oz. Rum

Layer in a shot glass. Pick up the shot glass and spin the liquid. Shoot it, slam it

Been a long day for a Sunday. Rain, then wind, then rain. Chicken soup and banana bread going in the kitchen. Even though it's cold, I wouldn't turn down a little Alsace from the cellar.
