Watch out! LEOs are bored and nasty.

So far two of our EA crew have had their vehicles pulled over & had searches (nothing found) plus I've seen several others pulled over on 7 while we've been working. Today 4 cop cars for one search. Have no idea why he was pulled ove. It it was daylight, the plate wasn't obstructed, maybe going over the limit. Talked to Playa Slumlord and he got harassed on 37 when he had a breakdown and the cop accused the mechanic under the vehicle of hiding something. At night, work lights on vehicle.

So yeah, watch out.

Normal for EA. They always do this when they're fresh on the playa and there is a bigger ratio of LEO to burners. Sunday evening they will be invisible unless you're really stupid with your driving and packing choices.

I didn't see any cops/BLM at all, except for a couple driving down our street during the week. I mean, it was weird, not seeing them as much. Guess I live in a boring neighborhood.

Got stopped right after getting into the city Monday afternoon. At some point during the drive the tow lights failed and were no longer lighting when I hit the brakes.

He asked for licence and registration, had me get out of the car, then started asking if I had any drugs. After I told him there were no drugs in the car, he told me a dog woud be brought to check. The dog came, did about two circuts, and didn't find anything.

While this was happening my girlfriend and I started chatting up his partner. Apparently it was his first time to BRC, and first day on the job. We told him the nights would knock his socks off.

To wrap it up the lead guy came back and gave me a lecture about the importance of visibility, especially with how dusty it was, and sent us off with a warning.
