MUCH LOVE to the webcam contribution and online links being provided here for we people that cannot be there "on playa" this year. Thanks for the hard work of all those making the online burning man experience happen!

This thread was created to simply learn of online burning man live webcam links and such. I'd like to add, I feel the snark on eplaya is too cruel to honest down to earth well meaning people here on eplaya. Please trust my humble opinion. Also, in my humble AND well informed opinion from participation I have enjoyed doing for the burn online and on playa at several burns I am NOT ALONE when I say this.

A bit of thread drift perhaps but I feel the grammar nazis on eplaya can and should be more tolerant and that is just the begining of how the members and the alleged many socks of eplaya could start to behave.

The old go to "eplaya is NOT the playa" is tired...it can and should be less contentious on eplaya. We've lost too many kind well meaning "boots on playa" members on eplaya due to the contention. I think there are better ways to help eachother and new potential participants than to beat the horse to death "eplaya is NOT the playa"

Thanks go out to all the people who've posted links for live webcam (and then some additional links) of the 2015 burn this year! Please keep them coming if you have more information, i.e. what is up with the Camp Envy Portal? I have fellow Burner friends and family on the playa now who would like to wave & signal to me and mine while we Burn from outside of the BIG BURN Some of us are disabled and unable to participate on the playa due to that unfortunate circumstance, that doesn't mean we cannot contribute to the Burn. I know many of us do in fact still contribute to the BIG BURN.

Let's not forget to thank the eplaya mods for doing an excellent job. Thank you!

A-RockLeFrench you are by far one of my favorites. So is your recipe for making BACON from the raw cut off meat. I tried it, without the sugar (I think it might have had suagr in the recipe) and it was a smash hit!

Bullshit. Calling that person a "jerk" was a statement of fact. A group of people went through a lot of hard work and expense to gift this live stream, and that person (who, by the way, has only four posts to their name, since that seems to matter to you for some reason) responds with this:

Webcast sucks. No chat. Only 1 view of the playa. Same ole crap every year. Nobody seems to know how to manage a decent webcast.

That is a jerk, and it's not "rude" to say so.

Unlike most Internet forums, we (almost) all meet in person at Doc Pyro's.
A well known eplayan, who portrays them self as all peace and love all the time, came up to me said I was "something else" and wanted to punch me. You'd all shit if I told you who! (Unsaid hippie did not attempt it though). There are people on here who were at the party that I really don't like. I don't cower from them but I certainly don't bother them either. I'm still amazed that the very peace-&-lovest person on here did exactly that. You never know how people really are no matter how they present themselves online!
There were others there who are on my ignore-user list here, and we simply ignored each other in person too.
99% of us get along like best of friends in person.
But this forum is interaction of humans, some don't mix, and it's the same as in real life.

There's always gonna be snark, sarcasm and such on here, unless the moderators start censoring the hell out of it.

There's folks on this board I've wanted to punch a few times. I'm not a violent person and I don't ever punch people but it doesn't mean I don't want to sometimes.

Good snark makes everyone laugh. If it hurts someone, it's not good snark. There is a difference between being an asshole and being snarky, and not enough eplayans know the difference. This dynamic is why in 5 burns and 6 years on eplaya I have always had better things to do than go hang out with a bunch of assholes on my Wednesday night on the playa.
