Hi LLF, got good news on the heart front yesterday and am feeling much better as each day passes. Got the car washed yesterday. I will be so up for a "Martyfest" in Harbin with you.

My little overloaded car will be lucky to be cleaned by November. I hope to be home by some time Friday, and if the top load will allow me into the garage (not being too tall) it could be November before I can unload it, bit by bit. However, if it's too tall for the doorway, it'll have to be sooner. First things first... find a chiropractor.

This little trip to the desert has (again) done wonders for my feelings of belonging to a bunch of amazingly wonderful fuckos whom I love with all my heart. Thank you so very much... Smooches and Hugs!!

Marty - so glad you are better! I also missed seeing a lot of folks I wanted to see. I went down hard with a norovirus on the Wednesday of the M&G, spewed for a couple of days and had to work really hard to rehydrate.

Back safe in Van Nuts. Minimal cleaning this year, since I'm off to WW in 2 weeks.

Trailer broken in Wadsworth Rest Area. Coupling broken off tongue.

Plan to rent U-haul and transfer load. Could use help with this work.

Could also use storage yard for a few days, to avoid driving U-Haul to Clearlake.

Trying to reach Sven (Barb Wire) and Carla here in Sparks.

Next, repair trailer. Trying to avoid cost of towing. Have e-mailed Mr.Fixit, but he is a busy man.

I have a "trow-away" cell phone. 707-295-5609. Will turn this on when I leave the library. (No computer except here.)

Rest Area employee said it is OK to stay there a couple days, so not panicking. But need to keep cost down.

In other news... camp was a grand success!

Have reached Mr.Fixit, and he is asking for more details. So optimistic on that front.

he's made it to Mr. Fixit's in Reno, with the trailer and repairs held.
he'll be re-loading and making his way home, and may have to make a trip back to Reno for more stuff, if it seems the load can't be balanced.

Nearby community of Cobb on fire and Middletown in imminent danger. Several of our camp members live on Cobb -- and their house burned down 15 years ago.

I could use "some" sleep, but....
