Post by Mountain_Man » Fri Sep 18, 2015 5:50 pm

Hey everyone,

This year was my first burn. I had an amazing week meeting all you beautiful people and seeing all the wonderful art. I made a short edit from my experience. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks,

Thank you for sharing your video. I enjoyed it very much.

What was the single most thing that stands out in your mind about this your first burn?

It is hard to pick just one thing that stands out as the entire week was full of stand out moments. I will say that riding my bike out on Sunday night after we set up camp was pretty amazing. Getting my first look at the city at night and seeing all the lights and art cars was unlike anything I've witnessed before.

Another thing that stood out in my mind was the sense of community in BRC and the random interactions with people on the playa. I only knew one person from our camp before Burning Man but after it ended, I felt like I gained a new family. I also had some mind opening conversations with total strangers, which I loved.

All in all it was an unforgettable experience and I can't wait to participate next year!

Nice video.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
