There are anecdotal reports of individuals at the event consuming pharmaceuticals and entheogens of all kinds. I would guess the actual numbers are much, much smaller than most people and LEO think.

In the last few years, there have been studies of sewage to assay pharmaceutical use. Theoretically, the porto waste stream could be analyzed and participant behavior deduced. Given the seemingly infinite taxpayer resources available to Homey Security and LEO, perhaps this would be a good university research project?

With the constant selling out of the event, there is a dearth of miracle tickets for the unwashed gathered at the gate. Now I'm thinking that there just might be a way to offer these hippies a path towards citizenship. Any idea what kind of still effective pharmaceutical residue might be left over in the waste stream, because I'm thinking we may have a match here made in heaven.
