hm. surley to bed and surley to rise. . .

How about spiking one of those trendy bubble teas with a generous serving of vodka? That ought to be weird enough to move you over to confused.

Consider yourself knocked.

Why you want the hang out with a bunch of inbred snobs patting themselves on the back for their superiour burniness. We have much better misspellings and wackier comradery.

Everybody. Post like mad to keep Rian distracted!

Well, see, I can’t really bitch, I should just leave there.

It’s two fold. But if I bitch about it/them/ especially the issue as a them then I’m also guilty of it, AND likely to start DVD going on the issue AGAIN, and potentially ruffling feathers of some of the 3playans who I really do like including but not limited to Lydia.

Grump.

It’s a combination of the feeling that by looking there I’ll find myself burned in effigy, not enjoying the general slandering of most non-3playans as a rule, and a crock of racist bigoted bullshit that just cropped up there.

I learn a lot from the place. That’s why I like it. Most of them are brilliant. And I assume that when I notice that I feel like it’s a completely closed clique that’s MY insecurities rather than their fault. But I can’t help feelin’ like they’re lookin’ down they’re noses at all of us. I guess I feel less that way about the ones who deign to come here. And I understand they left for good reason.

But then, I’m not longer a 3playan and it’s not my playground and they can do what they wish and many of them seem to be superb individuals.

See why I’m having trouble saying anything about it?!?!

Aaaaaarg. I’m gonna regret posting this!!!

I used to spend too much time over there for just the reasons you quoted. Smart people whose opinion I respect for the most part.

I also spent time over here. Between the two I spent WAY too much time fucking off. So I decided.

I like fucking with people and I have a hard time being serious for a prolonged piece of time. Ergo, Eplaya instead of 3playa. I haven't been over there for 2-3 months.

I guess you fuckers are just gonna have to put up with me.

I can say this about the 3playa, the haikus are better over there but the caption thread action is better here.

Anybody drinkin' or are we all looking down the street at the next gin joint?

Sorry I encouraged you, then. Tricky, tricky stuff. For all my sour grapes snarling about them, there were some people that were on e-playa back when I joined that no longer attend and I miss them. Not sure if they are 3playans or not.
All that stuff about their brillience and their looking down their noses at us resonates with me. I'm the eternal younger sister always with that sneer (or sneep as I just misspelled--what did I say about eplaya misspellings) on my face: "So you don't want me in your secret clubhouse? Well F-----------------------------------CK YOU! I'm going to be the silliest, most obnoxious, classiest, most complicated, most honest, most hyperactive fish you ever met! I don't need you or your treehouse!"
Just remember that you are treasured over here.

Rob: best piece o' news i've heard all day.

Crypto: best fuckin' plan i've heard all day.

Stuart: i can't remember. i know i talked 3playa with sensei in person yesterday, but most of the time i can't remember which times i'm talking to myself....

apologies. it must be an airhead moment.

it's such a hard balance between valuing a lot of what's over there and feeling... sticky and gross and wrong... with some of what goes on there.

i was wondering, on my break just now, if those are some of the things that happen to all of our societies when they become more closed. i wonder if the number of people who read this board keeps us all more toward the generous side and less toward the backstabbing side than if fewer were on it.

and then sometimes i wonder if i just misread them, though i'm pretty sure i can't be misreading everything.

i feel like it's spiralled downward from a year ago, too. back then it was sort of 'sneer only at those with bad punctuation.grammar/html skills' and now it seems more general.

i confess that i'm not being generous enough.
i confess that i returned there to see what discussion was on jimmason's stuff because i knew it would be worthwhile.
i confess i wanted a beer on lunch and this may be why.
i confess that i have a big soft spot for a lot of them.
i confess i feel like i'm talking about them behind their backs, except i know that they lurk here and this will get reprinted over there.
i confess that i'm too lazy to find the confessions thread and i don't want this conversation splashed all over the eplaya lest the old feud break out AGAIN.

Hey 3Playans--what's up with that? I confess that I feel somewhat used by the content of this revalation. So you sneer at us and spy on us? Well that's a nice way to mess up your internal sense of reality. and maybe put you on a level with rex. It's bad for your souls, and I confess that I'm a little shakey when it comes to souls. Still, it leaves you in danger of becoming smug. My previous gripes were all im my head, I knew it, I took it with a grain of salt and even laughed at myself.

But this strikes me as creepy.

Can your fishy do the bird?

a lot of them DO post here: blyslv, bob, lydia, shitmouse, badger and others on occasion. III and Ivy and precipitate and the rest used to be here, too.

sometimes things catch them and they read, othertimes not. i don't see much problem with it, especially since i do the same damn thing to them on occasion.

many continue to contribute (if infrequently, in some cases) to the eplaya.

of course, this will be one of those times they'll have far better things to do than follow this conversation. it's not like they don't have lives... or at the VERY least other e-lives.

Vodka and whatever, please.

On the other hand, I'd rather have just a shot of Wild Turkey. But it's gotta be a body shot.
