Yep too hot, too cold, too expensive, too out of the way, no vending, hours and hours of traffic jams, destroys your clothes/belongings, bike thieves, snobby burners, mean police, sniffy dogs, shitty music, crappy portopoties, unsanitary, and too dusty. And you could die.

Look, I'm out there on the playa this year, I hear someone shout my name. I turn around and it's the young lady from Brazil who is in our camp.
She is out with the naked pub crawl.
She called me by my first name.
She is half my age.
Where is the respect for elders?
This is the kinda of shit ya gotta deal with on a daily basis.

She goes home and writes a travel blog about her experience at the Burn and I have to remind her in print, and I do, that Burning Man sucks.

Not much remaining for next year.

When I went to the doctor in Fernley to have my bronchitis and ear infection treated; the doctor looked up my nose and said that I was "...carrying half the playa back home..." with me.

Do yourself a huge favor and save yourself a good bit of time and even more money --- don't go next year because there will not be much of anything remaining.

This year was my first time so I have nothing to compare it to and I loved it. It was amazing and I am definitely going back next year.
