Lost Purse #1507 Anyone heard back from BM re lost items

Hello and hope you all had a fabulous burn. I sure did. I lost my Dakine Jive Purse (cross-body), light brown with wavy pattern. 9 1/2 X 8. Someone was gracious enough to turn it into the lost and Found, Item No. 1507. Any idea when I can expect it back? I only received an automated email. Does anyone know how long it is going to take to get our lost items back. Just wondering.

I am in the same boat. I found my item in Flick and contacted BM and got the auto reply. I do not want to bug them as I'm sure they are really busy getting all the stuff back to dim wits like me that do not label my stuff, but it would be nice to get something anything other than an auto reply. Will keep you posted if I hear anything.

Several years back, the L&F folks posted a photo of the pile of dusty crap they were dealing with. IT WAS HUGE.

These folks are volunteers, so they're probably not putting in a 40 hour work week.

You're in the system (sent and received emails);
now it is time to be patient whilst they sort, package and mail out the ridiculous number of precious things people left in the dust.

Totally agree with you and not being negative toward BM in any way. Just trying to give and find comfort with my fellow burners waiting for feedback from BM

My camera came home, thanks to the hard work for the Burning team. The camera was run over by something but the card works and the photo's were all intact. Thanks again to all involved and for all your hard work.

I got all of my stuff mailed back to me in two different shipments, late December and in January. It sounded to me like they got a whole new staff in a few months after September, so it just took a while to get things sent out. Hope all of you got your stuff back!
