So anybody want to fly in for NYC Decom on Sunday? Sens-o-rama, you could do Santa on Saturday and jet in from Portland.

now that sounds fabulous. you can pick me up in the private jet on sunday morning early, plenty of room to land at my place, just don't worry about all those grape vines, you can just knock em down - they'll grow back!

sunday in nyc sounds like just the ticket...what could be more fun that that!

You know...

All this "bunch of elitist snob" stuff really gets to me. I mean it hurts my fucking feelings.

If you wanna participate and read on the 3playa... fine. If you don't... fine. Not every message board is for every person. I have no fucking clue what has you all creeped out RJ - I haven't been able to keep up anywhere today and I bet I've plonked whatever thread you read it on. Introduce yourself and argue your point with them... or don't.

People lurk here, people lurk there... what's with this "spying" crapola? It's the INTERNET... not your living room.

Pfaugh. The complaints on the 3playa *about* the eplaya generally boil down to disliking the interface and... conflicts past and present with one particular poster. YES, sometimes it gets painted with a wider brush than necessary... but that happens plenty *here* as well (e.g. "bunch of elitist snobs").
It's all about the squirrels.

Don't be puttin' ideas like that into Sensei's impressionable young mind! Damn, that sounds like fun. You know who I'd like to run into - literally? Besides you bucket, of course... Why, that would be none other than Miss Black Rock City, who I'm led to understand is a citizen of NY. If you should see her, please propose marriage on behalf of Sensei. Get down on one knee and everything....

Thanks.

I'm pissed off at that deer. My borther told me that same deer tried to commit suicide on him a few days before (remote area) and I decided then that he was one fucked up buck. I mean, with all of the doe running around here, if I were him, I'd be getting the mileage out of my 3 points, but noooo he had to jump off a bank and wreck my truck. Okay I feel bad... Fucking waste.

3playa is another board started by III, who got fed up with, well, he got fed up and started another board and many (of the best) followed him. Unfortunately for us, many never came back.

Lydia is absolutey correct in what she says. They ARE NOT any more 'elitist' than we are. They welcome newbies, I've seen it happen. They tend less toward 'drivel', but only slightly IMHO. It's a fun read, and I hate to see any animosity towards them, over here. You wanna complain about 3playa, go to 3playa and complain. They'll listen and give it right back. They fight fair (enough) and like I say, they are open to newbies...

Hell, they even have their own trolls. Remember Panther? He got his little 105 pound ass kicked of this board (for good reason) but he's haunting their board now. He stays in his own little thread though, which is probably why they stand him.

The bartender who introduced me to it here in Seattle pointed out that it's made in Latrobe, PA. Which is where they also make Penzoil motor oil.

I can't think of a finer recommendation.

I had thought that the creation of the 3playa and subsequent exodous happened BECAUSE of that one particular poster.

Word.

If we're talking green bottles here, I prefer Dos Equis lager or whatever the hell it is. Used to keep a case on block ice in the VW van at all times during our bugged out mainland surf trips of yore. Goddamn, I love Mexico.
