A Texas landowner was given clear title to about 95 acres his family has held along the Red River bordering Texas and Oklahoma. The family claim goes all the way back to the Civil War, but somehow the feds-BLM acting as their agent-laid claim to the land as a disputed area due to the shifting of the river channel marking the state line.
Unfortunately there are still other landowners in a similar predicament who will have to fight their way through the system to get outright possession of their land. Perhaps they should offer Choco Tacos.
