yep cold here. Going to have to get used to it. After a warm night under covers, I usually can wait awhile if I'm home in the morning before I turn the heat on. Then I feel a bit Bob Cratchetty and since I'm Scrooge as well, I put more coal on, silly.
Been looking forward to a certain dinosaur DVD becoming available in the red movie dispenser... little walk and then BOOOOOM!!! loud movie day. Getting shelves put together and organizing my rooms, a lifelong effort, but I have a lot less to deal with since my last move. It's going smoothly.

Finding out how the corn popper toy works, and imagineering a DaVinci version.

Night temperatures in the high 30s here. Time to winterize Millicent.

Going out on a MOOPing campaign at 10 today. We have a small group of "concerned citizens" who pick up trash and generally try to improve our community. This backwoods "city" lacks universal garbage service, so some of the culturally challenged residents dump their garbage on vacant lots and such.
Today we start on a major dump site, and the City is providing dumpsters.
We are also lobbying for mandatory weekly garbage pickup. As it is, it is voluntary, kind'a like subscribing to a newspaper, which is preposterous.

The sun is shining! Time to do something useful!

That's good stuff Yggy. Yeah, a quick business trip to ChiTown. Likely no time for any fun, like meeting up with the multitude of friends there, but such is life. I'm still going to get in whatever fun I can at the WXYZ bar at the hotel (or whatever the fuck they call it, something like that). Back home Friday.
