Hey, if the post office is able to safely ship you this way I may try it. Let us know if you arrive alive.

Hope the glue comes off your face OK. :-)
It's going to be alright.

It's very good. I've had a mustache for so long that my lips got really dried out after I got rid of it.
It's going to be alright.

Just to clear up your misconceptions DVD, I lurked for almost four (4) years before my first post. Sorry, but I saw the whole goddamn thing. I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree.

Ya' know, it's been too damned long since my last full-body-hug from our robbidobbs.

There we were... Standing by the portapotties... I simply had to throw my arms around you...

Hard to believe that was only 3 months ago; it seems more like a million years... Let's do that again.

Miss Guinivere's mom was indeed a hit at the LL! Ya' know Guin, between Kevin and I it's a wonder you were able to speak to her at all last night... Please tell her how much we enjoyed meeting her, and you can start naggin' her NOW about coming back ASAP. Tell her Sensei said, "Smooch"!

Aw, well.. I don't really need to TALK to my mommy... we speak without words a lot... in fact, I spoke to her all night, without even moving my lips. Pretty good, eh?

RobbiDobbs saunders over to the stereo equipment

Can we put on some Hawaiian music this morning? I'm in the mood to do some vamping.

But first, a Pina Colada would lube up my knees.

It's fucking COLD today!

I have this CD of Xmas music by a group called "The Blue Hawaiians". It's sorta surf music meets christmas.
It's going to be alright.

Normally I'm allergic to x-mas music, but since it's recommended by you Sputnik, Please DO!

Does anyone here know how to make a Pina Colada? Do we have all the makings here?

Excellent. You can't find this kind of music everywhere you know. In fact, I can't find it at all online. Let's start with Jungle Bells. It's a very snappy very island sounding piece.

As far as Pina Colada's go, this bar has everything you'll need.
It's going to be alright.

[giggles sneaks into the bar and sets up life-sized Elvis body, dressed a in pink polka dotted slip dress, with giggles glued to the face and wearing a lei, right next to the bubble machine, still whirring out bubbles at full speed, in the corner, then dashes back to medical transcription world]

Thanks Giggles, Elvis is really needed for this scene. Now we'll move to "Christmas on Big Island". It starts with hawaiian drums and then moves into a rockin piece.
It's going to be alright.

so i shouldn't mention that it's a ten minute walk from my house?

take the 10 or 11 or 7 for your easiest routes. the other cap hill ones i think you have to get off early and hike up a couple blocks.

they come really frequently. catch them on pine.

OK. Now we have "Mele Kalikimaka" (Merry Christmas) on tap. What a happy song.

Some lyrics:

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing you say on a bright hawaiian Christmas Day.
That's the island greeting that we send to you from the land where palm trees sway.
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright, sun will shine by day and all the stars at night.
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way to say Merry Christmas to you
It's going to be alright.

on a tuesday, at that time, it should be reasonable. maybe not door to door service - but reasonable.

and the likelihood of snow that sticks (though i saw flurries this morning) is almost - but not quite - nil. if there is snow we'll be sledding down denny!!!

I wish I could share this with you like Sandwichman does. I love this music. Now we're hoping into "We Four Kings" which is mostly surf guitar with a deep bass line and just a light touch on the cymbals. Oh yeah, and some surf drums...
It's going to be alright.

sledding down Denny... ahhh, last year...

I know which busses to catch, silly. I'm bus-savvy... I'm bus-a-licious... I'm bus-tastic... I'm bus-onderous....

No, you shouldn't mention how it's walking distance from your house...
