And because Elvis is in the bar we have Blue Christmas on tap. Very downtempo folks, slow dance if you've got a partner. If not, find one.
It's going to be alright.

If you are on a DSL or Cable modem and are not behind a firewall it is not difficult to setup a stream. Go to http://www.shoutcast.com and dig around. The software is all there.

Some lyrics:

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing you say on a bright hawaiian Christmas Day.
That's the island greeting that we send to you from the land where palm trees sway.
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright, sun will shine by day and all the stars at night.
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way to say Merry Christmas to you
Oh goody! I just happen to have brought my oolie-oolies. I LOVE doing this hula!

I'll do it, but I'm definitely going to want that Pina Colada afterwards.[/i]

Rock on! I don't think there will be snow but I was just making references to the tales of our elders. I cannot wait to see you all tonight. It is going to a crazy night something tells me.

It is all about sharing music and giving people something different then they are used to. If I were not behind this obnoxious firewall I would love to listen.

Please don't do it for me because I will be on my way to Seattle tonight.

I will check it another time.

And one of the great things is you can use the line input on your soundcard to broadcast external sources. So you can hook up about anything you can imagine.

Jason

PS Back to work lunch is over. Take care all if I don't get a chance to say hello before heading to Seattle

Geek Alert Geek Alert Geek Alert

sigh...

I guess you can get all kinds of conversations in a bar, and geeking out is pretty SOP for the territory.

Still, I'd like to get back to the serious subject of drinking blender drinks with a thick straw.

Whoo hoo... Who's "manning" the bar? I've been dancing, and vamping, and twirling around with my oolie-oolies, and now would someone PAY FUCKIN' ATTENTION TO ME?!?!? Pina Colada? Hello?

Not to be self-absorbed, but christ... do I have to do this top-less to get a fucking drink around here? Ok, fine!

<she whips off her shirt like a small explosion>

fuckin malikaliki maka is now running through my head. Gawd it feels good to have gotten enough sleep.
I'll be in my blanket fort until further notice.

Sorry Robbi, it's just pretty cool to be able to do that. Now, regarding those frozen drinks...

Pina Colada coming up!
It's going to be alright.

hey baby... *sniff* ....i've been catching up on some work, and feeling like *ahhh-choo!* shit.

i'd be happy to whip you up a colada, though... actually - i'd better not touch it ... all ya need is rum, colada mix, and pineapple juice. throw it in the blender with ice...

urk. i'm gonna have a hot brandy and go back to bed.

Thanks Babe. Here's a hot toddy for you. Get your ass back in bed until you're feeling better. I'll check on you later, OK?

I gotta leave for a bit, I'll pick up where I left off in a couple of hours.
