We intend to take over the back room at Carver's at Harrah's for Sunday champagne brunch beginning at 11:30. We had (I'm talking about last year, YMMV) arrangements so people could bypass the line, just walk up to the front and go on in. That didn't work perfectly well, but what are you going to do, right?

It's a 12 minute walk to the Morris via Reno Arch/BELIEVE unless you're on Playa time.

Last year, after the Hof, I got a bit of a tour with Elorrum. We went to the Generator and the Morris, both simply amazing. (and Lowe's for FIGJAM Cooler parts)

Reno seems like a pretty interesting place to explore.

Yeah, I still get a chuckle about last year, riding the elevator up together not knowing who you were at the time.
If I make it, I might stay a little longer because on Febuary 1st I go back to nights. 10:00pm to 06:30am.
I'll bring a bottle of Virginia City cemetary gin and gift it to the bar.

I'm starting night shift in February and once a week I have to bring my work uniforms to Reno, I'll swing on by one night.


Except my shift starts at 10:00pm so that won't work.

It seems our crew is heading up Thursday, but I'm not sure where we're staying yet (I'm hoping the Sands, since it's across the street from our party & right in the middle of yours!). We'll be leaving early on Saturday, since we all have to work our party Sat night in SF (which means I can't get too messy on Friday).

This is great - I didn't think I'd be able to make it because of work, and now work's the reason I'll be there! Woot. (I also just got a new title: Vice President of Everything Else. Seriously. I love my job...)

HELP! I've never taken a train and I can't picture the luggage. I have an army duffle of mayhem. I'll carry my backpack. Doc said something about bringing a disguised cooler and I have a rolling carry-on that works as a cooler. I need to bring a suitcase of clothes, food, etc. Oh, and then Doc mentioned bringing a train-case for the scavenger hunt. AARRGGHH. I can't figure out Amtrak's luggage policy. Any help or past experiences would be appreciated.

So my group is staying at Circus Circus (one nice thing about working for real DJs? Your hosts put you in nice rooms) and get in Thursday eve sometime. I don't know if I'll be able to swing by the Sands on Friday, it depends on what we have to do for set-up at the club. If I get a chance I'll come over (I know what floor you're on, if someone who knows they'll be there Friday day wants to PM me their cell # I can text them), otherwise please feel free to swing by & dance if you want to!

I'll have my "Generic Burning Man 2015" stickers on my for anyone who didn't get one, and I found a few of the 2014 version as well - I know I owe Ratty one of those from before I lost them.

Only all we can get. The train arrives at 4:00 and we've asked The Sands for a shuttle, but there will be nearly 60 of us and the shuttle can only take maybe 8 or 10. If you, and the legions of other burners who will be invading Reno on Saturday, could be there to help schelp us and our material to The Sands, that would be great. Thanks for offering.
