Getting enough water on the BM Shuttle

Hello!

This is my first year at BM and I'm trying to figure out how to get enough water for the week.

I will be flying in from Northern Ireland for the event and then getting the Shuttle to (and from) the Playa. I intend to make a food stop on the shuttle to pick up anything I can't bring with me, but I fail to see how I can bring a week of water? First if all the sheer amount, and therefore weight, of the water doesn't seem practical without my own vehicle. But even if it was possible to carry it myself, would there be space on the shuttle for multiple large containers of water?

Is there a way to get the water from someone AFTER the bus ride if I tried to prearrange it?

Anyone else arrive via Shuttle and want to share how they handled the water situation?

First, I'll second the good-on-ya for getting this stuff figured out well ahead of time!

Things are better in recent years than in earlier days but in general I still recommend bringing your own instead of making any kind of arrangements for supplies that depend on anyone else. Things don't work out, ends don't meet, shit happens.

Hi, I am also a virgin burner coming from abroad (Barcelona) and planning on taking the burner express. I've been figuring this out and I think getting a cheap wheeled suitcase and filling it up with water bottles is the best solution, you can fill it with MOOP for the way back. I've found a 15$ cheap 32'' wheel one in wal-mart but I'm a little worried about if it will hold the weight or not. I'll be following this post and posting any new idea I come up with, after getting the tickets this will be my biggest concern

Remember to bring some electrolytes (powdered) for your water too, because you may be craving the electrolytes more than hydration.
