Did you see many western franchises over there? KFC, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, 7-11? I was stunned by how many I saw in Bangkok. McDonald's was a favorite hangout at night, in front on the steps. ("And it's one, two, three, what are we fighting for?")

At home in the States I never eat that crap but in 2 1/2 months in Asia I probably had BK 5 or 6 times... Those times when I wanted a fucking cheeseburger and wanted to know that I was actually going to get one...
