This morning I discovered Sarah laying under an oak tree. Not running away, not moving much at all, just staring at me. I grabbed her (she's quick to run), and found that her arm was all the way through her collar.
It must have been on there for a while cause she was PISSED when I went to replace her collar. She only wanted to be in the house today, still sleeping. Poor kitty.

This is my big, furry beast named Thor. He is half Bernese Mountain Dog and half German Shepherd and makes me laugh every day.

Amazingly so on both counts, which means he has a high propensity for mischief but it's usually too damn funny for me to stop laughing long enough to prevent his shenanigans.

Follow up: Sarah is fine. She slept all night again. Eating well this morning. The new collar looks nice. She's not even that pissed at Maggie. All is well in kitty-land.

Meet Milo, the newest addition to my family. He's 8 weeks in this picture and just the cutest little thing. My wife got him for me for Christmas. Greatest Christmas present ever!

This is him now at 5 months and still adorable and such a little character.

Well, after we lost our last cat (Dax) to CRF (Chronic Renal Failure), we took a break from having any animals in our lives, then these two stumbled in. The kids of ferals we rescued from the streets.

Here they were, about 5 weeks old. Shelby (girl on tthe left) and Jag (boy on the right).
They got their names as Shelby can do 0-100-0 mph faster than any Cobra could. And Jag got his as he is always trying to catch her but just can't quite get there. even though Shelby is small, she is lightning quick. Jag is a truck.
jag_shelby_9_2015_s.jpg
And here they are at about 3 months.
jag_shelby_11_2015_s.jpg
And here they are at about 6 months. They are resting in Dax's old chair. I like to think Dax would have approved (probably not,..but it sounds nice).

We are not looking forward to leaving our kids at home for the two weeks we will be gone for Burning Man.

Now there is one good-looking animal! Barbie (my Picardy Spaniel) is, I believe the Latin translates to, canus retardus. Stella looks nothing like her.

Thanks, Doc. Your Latin translation made me laugh out loud.
Pretty sure Stella has a little of that bloodline too...it surfaces from time to time.

Beautiful animals everybody has.

@Skuzzy61:

Jag has the very defined tabby marking on his forehead. M, or upside down W.

They are both mutts.

Like you said, he has the distinct tabby 'M' on his forehead, and he also has the 'boots', coat, slanted almond eyes, and fluffy tail of a Balinese. He also has a very distinct and pronounced mane. He is a handsome critter. He also has the sweetest disposition of any cat I have ever had.

Shelby has the face and head shape of a classic Balinese, while her coat is much like a tabby, except the coloring. Her colors are all over the place with no symmetry at all.

Both have teal colored eyes. More gray than blue. Both also have the ears of a Balinese.

They are a pair.

Everybody has such loving animals. I wish we weren't a no pet zone. I'd get a pond full of tadpoles and one with a snapping turtle. A California King snake, tarantula, madagascan cockroach, true chameleon (pair of course), another emu, chickens, fill the aviary with parakeets, ant farm, lizard window, beautiful freshwater snails, sea horses and every other damn thing that I could love from the Berkeley Herpetarium.
