A fire crackles in the S.C.C., a trail of CheezeDoodle crumbs leads through the secret tunnel to an empty stall in Da Barn. Sounds of chanting from those "of the body" seem just at the edge of hearing, coming from under the floorboards. Outside sits a pair of huge BoobieBar domes with flaming nipples, across from a Mash unit with a roadblock set up. A raucous individual in an electric powered chair rides up the street in full regalia, followed by a green flame sewing penis. *

I am loving the April 1 shenanigans. Anyone get got good? I sent alarms to our responders as a drill of our system, by the fourth or fifth alert for different scenarios (We cannot carry all the gear on our helos for one disaster so we have packs for missions. Rescue, Fire, Flood, Medical, etc.) by the fourth or fifth alert they were like "What the hell are we going too?"

I'm over April 1st junk, at least when it comes to the internet. I think the reason is because every day of the year is a running fool's joke, between clickbait and placed stories and paid social media posts and political nonsense... people are constantly pulling your leg.

I thought the dude who did the buringman.org faux journal post was kind of funny, but to people who missed out on the main sale I think it might have been too soon. The petition was funny, especially the quotes from the artists.

Yesterday was a lot of walking and stair-climbing at the GLC. A couple sessions take place in a big room on the 2nd floor, but the rest are on the 10th and 11th. With hundreds of people trying to go upstairs at once, it can take a while to get there in one of the small elevator cars... the stairs are an option. Or so I thought...whew. By the time I reached the top, my body was reminding me of all the various leg, knee, and back injuries I've had over the years and that I should either go slower or just wait for the damned elevator. Otherwise, it's been a great event so far. I've run into a few ePlayans, Misa, chromatest pantsmaker, Scotto, SuperSuz, MisterSaunders, Squishelle and a few others whose names I can't recall...

Time to get moving, I've got to get dressed and head back over - have a great weekend

long time away after a fantastic 2015 burn.
not planning on the burn this year (damn it hurts to say that!) Definitely planning in future years.
Looking for another camp next time, had a good run with Orphans Too, was co-lead last year.
Got lots of friends in other camps now with Barbie being a solid possibility.
If any friends are looking for a solid set-up / strike person for 2017 pm me.

Missing that firepit on the last night in front of TK's...

Good afternoon, Bar!

I'm not sure whether I picked something up at the GLC, or if it was Tuesday night at the Noel Fielding gig, but man I woke up yesterday feeling something coming on. Today seems much worse. I'm struggling twice as hard to move at half the speed, you know how that goes. As I've been tinkering along on a playa project, I figured that busting out the last few cans of dusty playa beer leftovers from 2015 (stashed in the back of the fridge) would be just the thing.... and I was right. Thin film of dust, cheap mexican beer, just the thing to massage the brainy bits. I got my bar design finished, I think. I like Ygmir's medicine show there, a little Jameson might do me good.

I had my teeth cleaned today. Not pleasant, as I've let things slide more while I've been less mobile. Larry was home all day, so he ran downtown to pick up lunch specials for us at Pig and a Jelly Jar. It is restaurant week in Ogden, so some places are offering two course lunches for $10. Nice way to try new places. So I had beignets, and chicken and waffles The waffle is for breakfast tomorrow. The chicken was amazing, but I could only eat half. Larry had buffalo chicken sliders and fried pickles. We had a nice long nap, and now his is working on my houseplants and some garden stuff. I was going to paint, but just not able to do it today. So close to finished on this project!

No dancing today though. I've been limping all week and at times barely able to walk. Got a shot UP the heel of my left foot on Monday. That fucking hurt too. I thought the pain of planter fuckedupitus would would go away in a day or so, apparently not Really want to get out and walk the dog...

dang Lucky........foot issues. does that affect your ballet performances? I can only imagine what it does for your tap dancing.

I went from "catching up on stuff" to "oh shit, how am I going to get this all done" in about a week.
Looking at the stuff I hope to do at the Hof this summer, seems my summer is pretty booked already! Still too much snow to get to the Hof, so still making bricks.

Lucky, plantar fuckyerfeetis can take a while to resolve. I wore magic socks at night and have a plastic foot stretcher. Mine healed up, but I have hung onto my socks and devices. I hope yours goes away quickly!
