Eh! Canadian virgin here

Post by Rebel514 » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:19 am

Hey fellow burners,

A little about myself: I am Rebel, a 23/yo female Canadian burgin who is incredibly excited/nervous to be adventuring out to Burning Man this year!

Unlike the many virgins who claim that they have wanted to attend but were never able to make the trek, I am different. Though I only learned about Burning Man this past August, I made it priority number one to get there! Since then, I have become a very active member in my local burner group, attended two regional events, secured my ticket to BM2016 and accepted a very gracious offer to join a local camp! Needless to say, I am very much on my way to successfully making it to my first burn!

Though I have been an Eplaya member for a while, I wanted to officially introduce myself here since my local burning man community has been so open and welcoming to me, and I have made such awesome friends in the span of only a couple months. That being said, HEY EVERYONE! :) I cannot wait to meet more of you awesome souls at the Burn!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!
Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome Rebel. And......We'll make it a mini series. Rebel barreling across the playa on a brightly decorated bike. It will be called Rebel's Big Adventure. Bring your big shoes and start practicing La Bomba.

Rebel, Congrats on getting your ticket. Do come to the Meet & Greet on Wednesday night during the event. It's your only chance to meet everybody.

Welcome, Rebel514! It sounds like you're doing it right. :D

A little nervousness is natural, and I still get butterflies every time.
